It is in the eastern part of Iowa, and I'm not sure it is worth the few extra hundred miles of road trip. I drove past it last summer. Maybe I should have stopped in.
You are correct that the law has changed since I did this before. From what I can find, in Arizona, you are responsible for state and city tax for the city the vehicle resides in. Supposedly the buyer does not have to pay the county which just means a reduction in sales tax of 0.7%.
I agree with you on not buying a first year. I just want to see what the redesign really looks like and what motor(s) options Ford is offering. LOL, I have no doubts that my wife would totally be content with me driving my Tacoma until ’24 or ’25 before replacing it.
You and I can agree that...
I have a quote from Granger on a 2022 Ranger XLT FX4. I am ready to jump on it, but my wife is not budging yet. She wants me to wait until we see what the 2023 redesign really looks like. I hate to admit it, but she does have a point.
BTW, I asked Chapman Ford if they were willing to order 2022...
If this is true, this would be a real good deal on a new Ranger. Not only would the 3% under invoice smoke any dealer in the Phoenix area, the sales tax would just be the AZ state sales tax at 5.6%. That would be a 3% savings on sales tax (no city or county tax) if you purchased from a dealer in...
Hi Zach,
I have a few questions:
1. I live in Arizona. Would I have to pay Iowa sales tax and would I have to title in Iowa?
2. Would I have to be present at your dealership to take possession of the Ranger?
3. If the answer to question 2 is no, then is it possible for me to arrange my own...
With the Ford built in timer, my 2017 GT (Premium with auto, no performance package) regularly was good for 5.1 - 5.2 second 0 to 60. My times were pretty consistent with what people were reporting on Mustang6G. My GT had no problem with stock Ecoboost Mustangs. A friend of mine had the Roush...
The day my son purchased his Ranger, we test drove a used 2020 Mustang GT with the A10 and the Ecoboost Mustang with the A10. That Mustang GT was a rocket. I was totally impressed. It was noticeably faster than the 2017 GT I used to own. If I had to guess, the 2020 GT was close to a second...
I guess I still need to run my 2011 Tacoma against my sons Ranger. The Ranger may win, but it is going to be close. I can tell you that the 4.0 v6 in the G2 Tacoma has no problem beating a G3 Tacoma in a race.
This will be fascinating to watch happen. I like the concept, but I do not think it will work. I am not sure how the Ford manufacturing plants and the dealers are gong to adapt to this. Unless the orders are coming in at a steady rate, how are they going to handle Just-In-Time parts ordering and...
Maybe the financing arm has something to do with it, but it appears that a lot depends on what other vehicles the dealership is ordering. It sounds like if the dealership wants additional Broncos or Mach-E’s over the base allocation, they had better be agreeing to orders for additional...
There is not a dealer in the Phoenix area that would come close to the deal he got from Granger Ford. If Granger could get me a new Ranger XLT FX4 for invoice, I would seriously consider it. The shipping would be @ $1200-$1500 to Phoenix and I would just need to pay Arizona state sales tax to...
