On Ranger if you have a flip key for ignition switch, Then yes it can be done if you have two keys to perform the task. Provided the key itself has been cut to match. orignal. I just added a spare last month. I believe you do both orignal keys by inserting keys one at a time just turning...
  4. Interior auto A/C bezel part number and Fortress Silver paint code Crew Cab XLT

Well I bought an overseas style Bezel. Since they have a CD and no airbag open section, I cut it out and beveled, etc. I used Sem vinyl satin dark silver as base coat and fogged in Sem Titanium bumper paint over base coat (since there is no color code for XLT interior silver. The sheen isn't...

Here we go “ Baby Boomers” screwed the whole world up. Then I guess all “millennials” are the saviors. As was stated earlier not all boomers are alike. More than you think we were just like you earlier. The best way to start fixing it is to vote every incumbent out of office for a few...

Come on man, you are checking off all the boxes in the stereotypical old man boomer checklist. "When I was a boy of 14, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be 21, I was astonished at how much the old man had learned in seven years". —...

Analogy might be close but people can get by with a flip phone if desperate but Gas and food will become the most important items. If you can afford a lot of expensive items then great. My statement is about the supply/demand for short term fix. Check out delayed airline flights, hard to fix in...

I don't believe this about politics! This is about helping to cut the cost for short term supply/demand. Your analogy of eating out or buying a new Iphone isn't very representive. Oh yes, I'm retired not ever had to ask for handout! Paid taxes for over 59 years and still paying. We will see you...

I don’t think I was hypermiling? I wasn’t doing 60 had A/C temp turned up coasting, etc. Difference between 70 and 80 is about 10% more consumption. No cruise and weaving in and out of traffic and so on that cuts MPG down.
  16. Small Road Trip observered drivers.

Last week I went for a 185 mile round trip. Almost all on interstate highways. Had wife in the truck, went to pickup new puppy at a shelter. Now, I set cruise at 70 MPH and adaptive cruise on. Tach under 2k RPM unless a steeper grade. I passed going down to shelter, three semi-trucks (going up...
  17. A missed reservation and long charging times.

Hybrids are the immediate answer for travel. EV's for city or short trips. Road trip in a KIA SUV hybrid a few weeks ago and was really impressed with both the MPG and city driving. It had enough pickup on highway to be comfortable. AVG 41.7 MPG
