I too had this problem at first. At 6'3", I had to lower my seat height to it's lowest postion and with out saying at far back as possible. I have apparently adjusted to the switch not being swiped with my knee.

The dealer might have installed and locked the FPP to your VIN# but might been reluctant to download the performance program until the vehicle had reached a minimum drive time/mileage or break in period. They should have informed you of such!

Besides not using the adaptive cruise control and probably not using the lane assist control, I believe the anti collision system can still be activated from the front proximity sensors while driving. That's the main reason I went with the Ford system for towing.

I don't know if you have it set for automatic updates via wifi but if you do then sometimes it will do downloads then reboot a few times. i have seen this in the past make sure to do all the updates and key cycle the ignition switch on/start/run too.
