As far as programming the Solenoid ID to the PCM - There will be a Data Tag on the RH side of the (Transmission) and any High-End Scan Tool has the Solenoid (programming) to update what is in the transmission to the PCM - it's simply plugging the information on the (Data-Tag) into the tool and...
Since I went through this (as a curiosity) and actually had a difficult time finding this specific information when I first took delivery (Verify the Part Number I have was truly the Revised Number) but 3 Years later - Its easily found and VERIFED.
Note: I have a 2022 4WD and a Build Date of...
ok great - if it appears that it is still aborting the sequence, it MAY just be a visible pulse of the low and high beams - since the lights are (ON) - actually running the sequence but cannot visually see the full effect of it, I think you should at least see a pulse on the lights.
Fuse 19 = Switched Power, the circuit requires switched power - the temp tap to the battery is for a (Test Only) to confirm my proposed fix for this issue.
I edited my above post to include this:
And I need some assistance from @Big Blue and or @jdjeff or anybody else that has the Morimoto's or querulant that has the startup animation and has issues with it working properly.
What this (Test) does - (Test Only) is we are taking to switched power...
Ok - I did some digging and I have found some deeper information for the (Aftermarket) Headlight assemblies - so @jdjeff and @Big Blue may find this interesting.
From what I have found - ALL Aftermarkets use - What would be (PIN 6) as a tapped power source in lieu of having the customer make...
ok but if you take the remains of the tensioner assembly and put it into a vice, and then use a wrench on the hex (and rotate) it - attention to the spring load does it snap back every time and is there a constant resistance with the spring also when doing so does the pulley have and (fore and...
The good news is it does not look like they scratched the paint - getting it off, so they were delicate and understanding - and just wanted to save the approximate $100 that they saved.
The bad is (new) they are expensive and part numbers vary on what color it was.
The ones I found are:
Gloss...
The BIG QUESTION remains - Is this a chain reaction event? Bad Tensioner / Bad Idler Pulley producing undo stress on the mount or is it strictly a total design / manufacturing flaw- either way this should not happen and needs to have a separate mounting bracket that is a simple replacement vs...
I have taken another deep dive into this and will follow up as I have to review what was previously tested by @Big Blue on the startup sequence (issue) and that tapped power source. I think I see why it's happening but need some more time to review and think some more on the subject.
So, depending on how they are wired, if you want them to work (DRL) in auto then you can possibly set up Forscan to (DRL) Include Parking Lights but like I have previously stated I have not been able to find a published install instruction for the VLAND lights
Yes, I agree air pockets in the system, but he was previously told bad head gasket, and that is possibly creating the piston compression bleeding over into the cooling system - pushing air into the system - the true way to confirm the finding is to perform another CO2 Fluid Test.
The system will...
Ok it’s coming back to me now - the VLAND install instructions via online searches were not found and these if I recall are wired differently than the other aftermarket options, it was on my list of (figure it out) agenda - the sole purpose of my thread - Group Help, was to have a one stop...
I would have to reflect back on some various threads on the VLAND - Wiring
But here is one of them:
The First thing that comes to mind @ least for the factory LEDs is that:
In Auto: The DRLs will not operate until you are out of Park and in Daylight, this may be what you are experiencing if just...
At Highway Speed - 62 MPH
Here is the full unaltered - PIDs I had set to record on this drive.
I do not remember precisely what I was doing as far as the pedal here as I also romped on the pedal a few times in the drive to force a (High Load) this shot should be at cruise, I wish I would have...
Ok, as requested awhile back - A Live Data Drive (Test Results) for a Normal System
I would post a video but the data changes so quickly - it's easier to show via screen shots.
I weeded out some PIDs - for a simpler view
Hopefully this will give a better understanding of what a - Good Reading...
