Over my 40+ years of owning 4x4 pickups I find All Terrain tires to be pretty poor in winter slop. The Grabber ATx tires that came on my Tremor have been the best AT tire for winter use I have had. My son had the previous generation Grabber AT on his Wrangler and I found them noisy. I was...
Interesting, the 2.3 Ecoboost Mustang guys use the 2.0 Ecoboost block as the starting point for a high HP 2.3. The 2.3 rotating assembly drops right into the 2.0 block and the 2.0 block is significantly stronger than the 2.3 block.
This 50 Ford is a body swap onto a mid 2000s Mustang. The...
The difference in cost of building a Chevy verse Ford still exists today may not be as large a difference but it is still there, just go an peruse the Summit catalog. The problem with the 5.0 HO is it doesn't make any power to get it equivalent to an LS will cost thousands more than a using a...
I love seeing folks do crazy builds, a sbc in a 32 Ford is done because it is cheap and I can get on board with that. I helped a friend/neighbor build his 34 Ford Street Beast 3 window coupe. He used a new sbc 350 crate motor because he was able to buy it for $2500 and he used a GM 700R4 tranny...
Initially I was using FireFox to download the files and it created the Sync32.zip file then just thrashed after that. I tried again with Edge and the files downloaded in about 30 minutes.
It took about 20 to 30 minutes to transfer the files to the USB stick.
I will go for a drive when I have...
There is a license file that gets created when you enter your VIN that prevents sharing the files. CyanLabs has the map files that can be down loaded for 2019 APIMs and older. There was a change made to the 2020 and newer APIMs that prevents you from using the map files.
When I got my 21 in 21 it had NA 1 19 maps. I updated it for free to the NA 1 20 maps. Last year I updated it for free to the NA 2 21 maps. Last night I down loaded the 22 maps for free.
FWIW, there are three Fox Body Mustangs that come to the local Cars n Coffee cruise with LS swaps. Two are super charged, the third is turbo charged. A guy in my Mopar club picked up a Fox Body Mustang drag car with no engine or tranny. He had a 509 cid stroker Mopar 440 and 727 tranny he put in...
Regardless, 3.4.23088 fixed an issue I had been having with my new phone randomly not being able to make calls. AND, when I go to the Sync Update site it states I am up to date and lists my version as 3.4.23088.
Well 3.4.23088 has been out for awhile and 3.4.23188 was released in the past couple or three weeks.
I was running 3.4.22251 for a few months without issue then I got a new phone. The new phone would connect with no issues but randomly would not make a call and I would get an error message from...
I would say you need to prepare to eat crow pie. Trying to guess how what you perceive as equivalent systems will behave in a 3.5 liter V6 and an inline 4cyl is futile. I hope some of the others on this forum that have the MBRP will join in.
Right off the bat at a cruising rpm of 2000 and a...
Seeing that you have not heard the MBRP exhaust on a Ranger you should keep such harsh comments to your self.
My past experience with MBRP exhaust on Mustangs was not positive and was not even under consideration when I got my Ranger. But based on all the positive feedback on this forum I took...
My Ranger is carbonized grey. I would not have purchased the truck if it were not for the Tremor graphics. I have since added the FP red tow hooks and red Ford emblems.
I had gone to the dealer because they had two Cyber Orange Rangers, a Lariat Tremor and a XLT FX4. When I saw the Cyber...
I purchased the single outlet cat back system from MBRP. It is 3" from the connection to the down pipe to the tailpipe tip, is made of 304 stainless. It was on sale directly from MBRP for $550 (normally $650). It uses all the factory hangers and took about an hour to install (I do have a lift in...
