Last week at dealer when I asked tech to check for latest Waze update, I watched him run through settings on my Sync3 screen. As I recall he set Waze to "Allow Automatic Updates" and he said he thought my system already had the latest version. He also said any Waze updates are done on the phone...
Forget about completing the look, you will be amazed at the reach of the Auxito high beams, and the pattern is about perfect. You will look forward to those dark country roads.
Not sure on Lariat, but on XLT another way to adjust temp and fan speed is to use microphone button on steering wheel (ex: "set temperature to 72 degrees").
Thanks for the replies guys, good to know others are experiencing glitches also. The spinning compass happened to me yesterday, but upon reconnecting the phone it was fine. As far as the Waze speedo, it would sure be handy on some of these country roads where the speed limit signs are...
I will echo thoughts here on the 2nd gen Tacoma. I had 200k on my 05 Trd Sport 4wd when I traded it for the Ranger. Great truck, solid and reliable , the 4.0 had good torque and the auto trans never had any doubt what gear it needed. I also really liked the composite bedliner, sliding tiedown...
OP, please post back if you find a solution to #3. I have the same complaint, and agree it is super annoying to walk around and find the passenger door (or tailgate) locked. (Why??) The tech at my dealer couldn't figure it out, he did enable Unlock All Doors from the settings menu. But all that...
Looks like most of responses here are from 4wd owners. I have the 4 x 2 and the ride is really smooth and quiet, and my fiancee loves it. My former truck (Tacoma TRD Sport 4 x 4), was like driving a cement mixer compared with my Ranger.
I got 200k out of my 2nd gen Tacoma TRD Sport 4wd, great truck and I liked the looks of the 3rd gen too, but between the downsized engine and quirky trans I did not see it as an upgrade for me, and seemed like Toyota has been coasting on its reputation a bit. Still seems to be working for them...
I may be sticking my foot in it here, but I think rebates are common across the board with all truck manufacturers at year end. Thankful I was able to fast forward through the myriad of Toyotathon ads during NFL playoffs.
Thanks for the explanation. I recently set up a new mesh wifi home network, but I don't recall if VPN was an option. I would like to opt out of these captchas though, as sometimes I can't tell a curb from a crosswalk.
That happened to me on one of the lights and it was also on the passenger side. Yes, by removing the connector first the bulb will come right out, but don't pry on the connector or it may break off. There is a tab on the side of the connector, if you press in on it the connector will pull right...
Yes, from Amazon.

After reading all 36 pages of this thread I went with the Auxitos for lows, highs and fogs. I was prepared for a few scratches, scrapes and cuss words but on my 2wd XLT it was quite simple, about 20 minutes for all 6 bulbs.
For lows and highs there is decent access to covers from under the...
I am also a huge fan of the Michelins and had them on my last 2 trucks. I planned on swapping out these Bridgestones also but they are actually quite good, smooth and quiet at 3500 miles, but if that changes I will edit my response.
Be careful with kaboom, clr or toilet bowl cleaner as it contains a mild acid which may eat the clear coat if it gets onto your painted wheels and isn't prompty washed off. Stuff is pretty amazing though for getting tough water spots off glass.
