Hi Adam...Did you install the Firestones yourself? I am wondering if you ran into an issue with the bottom bracket fitting over the bumper plate? On my truck, there is a plastic piece under the plate that extends a 1/4" on each side that interferes with the bracket fitting. I'm pretty new to...

This, and DakotaGuys post help to illustrate my driving practices with the Ranger. There are many options and none are best suited for all situations. Use the trucks computer controlled everything to your advantage. Want good MPG, leave it in D go easy on the skinny pedal. Quicker off the line...

In your other repetitive whining thread about this feature, “Tow” mode was referenced several times. But you’re really not looking for solutions. Carry on.

Seven posts whining about a minor issue with an easy fix. Sorry Ford hasn't gotten around to designing a specific vehicle just for you. Get over it.

Another minor little thing with these trucks that too many people make a big deal out of. Using words like ridiculous, hate, and forced to comply. With several easy fixes available, why get your panties in a wad? I have more important things to waste my energy on.

As of ten minutes ago my ASS does not activate in Sport mode. But I don’t play around with the ASS much. If I’m tooling around town in D then I just leave it alone, if traffic gets bad I’ll turn it off. Most of the time it seems like I am in some situation where it is disabled; Sport, Tow, off-road.

I’m notorious for running out of gas, and it’s rarely in a convenient location. My old Frontier seemed to challenge me in how far I could push it! The Ranger does give me early and frequent notice, so there’s that. But like RP, I want to visit the gas station as little as possible.
