I am notorious for running out of gas, and it is certainly better to avoid that for many reasons. However, a week ago I did manage to run out of gas. Not once, but technically twice. I was headed to WY on a fishing trip, the first time I syphoned the gas out of my generator and that got me a few...
I have had all my insurance through USAA for many years. They stopped covering travel trailers a couple years ago and partnered up with Progressive to provide that coverage. So I just went with that. Not too long ago it was $12/month on our pop-up through USAA.
I have pretty much āfull coverageā on ours: Comp/Collision/Total Loss/Roadside Assistance. Through Progressive itās $45/month. Except for our house, this camper is the most expensive thing we own. Itās worth the peace of mind.
Grumpaw always has good advise, and he doesn't disappoint now.

Lifts the truck with no problem. But also has the right setup to lift my off-road camping trailer.
Last Friday marked the two year anniversary of purchasing my 2021 Ranger. A Supercrew XLT 4x4 w/Tremor package. Just over 32,000 miles and only minor issues. I really like the truck.
Starting to think about long-term ownership and getting concerned about some of the transmission issues that are...
Agreed! CoTrex is great. I wish some of our nearby states would develop something similar. Big plus, you can save the maps and still view them on your iPad when you lose coverage.
Drove Tincup Pass a couple times years ago in my stock ā99 Ranger 4x4 SCAB. I mostly remember that it wasnāt the roughest road that I took that little truck on. Imogene Pass is the only other one on that list that Iāve been over.
Last Spring, boondocking for a week near Moab, we didnāt see one other Ranger.
If youāre feeling brave, check out Shafer Canyon Road in Canyonlands. Between the entrance gate and the Visitors Center. Unforgettable drive!
I have been 4-wheeling in the Colorado/Wyoming/Montana mountains for over 40 years. This is the first truck I have had with a rear locker. My experience has shown that it is in no way required for my adventures, but now that I have it...it sure is nice! Kind of like air conditioning, don't...
That Tron ride looks pretty cool! I've owned more motorcycles then trucks, so it's right up my alley. I remember the Back To The Future simulated roller coaster back in the day, the technology has come a long way.
That pic was taken on the way up to Mosquito Pass. Driving from Fairplay to...
Disney Land almost 30 years ago! Nothing but good memories. The Princess and I don't have children, so we do Disney a little different than most.
My father lived out side of Ft. Myers for a while, we'd hit Disney World every few years.
My favorite ride in Orlando was the the Richard Petty...
We haven't done Disney in many years, but that sounds like a great way to go about it. EPCOT is always great, better then Disney World for us.
Thanks for the review.
