  1. to all LEER CAP owners

I have been following this and am happy to see it came to a reasonable conclusion. Good for you! Now I'm concerned about the Leer XR that I have on order. In particular, your statement that Leer stopped installing interior dome lights in July. I ordered mine on June 9th and it is supposed to...
  2. What Is the Name/Nickname of Your Ranger?

Until this Ranger, I had never named any of my cars or trucks (but each motorcycle I did). The short version of the story is that the camper it will be towing was all ready named Hobbs, so Calvin seemed obvious. My wife has always owned dark blue VW Beetles. Starting with a ā€˜74 in high school...
  3. Door out of alignment.

Starting to wonder now if it’s getting worse.
  4. Door out of alignment.

Thanks for the reply, Phil. It certainly seems like the door is firmly latching, but just off a little. I don’t know. I guess I need to find a local dealer, where I got the truck from is not very convenient. Thanks again.
  5. Door out of alignment.

I have only had the truck for ten days. Wasn’t real concerned about it until recently. I certainly don’t expect fender adjustments to help.
  6. Door out of alignment.

The driver side, front door of my '21 XLT is out of alignment. Not flush with the rear door. It is fine at the top but gets progressively worse towards the bottom. I recently read about adjusting the fender's position relative to the hood, is there something I can do to adjust the doors as well?
  7. Slamming my doors!

I've had two different girlfriends crack my windshield doing that!! Neither of 'em were worth it. And I'm with you guys and the door slammin'! My wife can't seem to figure it out. Granted, it's hasn't been two weeks yet, and she is trying. But car doors slamming are a pet-peeve of mine, as is...
  8. 2022 Nissan Frontier

Based on the entire brand name, their aren't very many ranked above Ford that I would buy today. And I would need much more money to get what I want from any of those!
  9. 2022 Nissan Frontier

I didn't realize their quality had suffered so much in recent years. If you had asked me 6 months ago my plan was to buy a new Frontier towards the end of 2022. But things changed and I am now in a "21 Ranger and it seems like that was the right choice!
  10. 2022 Nissan Frontier

I loved my 2012 Frontier SV 4x4! It took me to places it had no business going and always brought me back home. Many details and interior quality exceeded what is offered on the new Ranger today. But I needed the payload and towing capacity of the Ranger, pretty much excluded all others in the...
  11. Insurance Rate

Not sure where I sit then. No record also, 800+ FICO score...only 54? Don't quite get that discount either. And there is significant storm (hail) damage to vehicles where I live. Still a big discrepancy.
  12. What did you do to your Ranger today?

A very astute observation. I like it! I have been on the commercial, technical end of graphic arts for many years. Perhaps I am a little jaded and yearn for simpler times.
  13. Insurance Rate

What are you paying? For what coverage?
  14. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Did the same to my Tremor!! I like it clean.
  15. Insurance Rate

I have been with USAA for many years, it would take an awful lot to get me to switch. The '12 Frontier ran me $90/month, for the '21 Ranger it went up to $110/month. That's with $100 deductible, rental car reimbursement, and roadside assistance.

  17. Hitch Height – XLT Tremor?

Going to ask $8K. It's had some roof issues (after being completely rebuilt) but that's been addressed. Lift system is new. Selling it loaded up and ready to camp: two 20# propane tanks, deep cycle 12v battery, dishes and flatware for four, knives, kitchen utensils...etc. Even the bed linens if...
  18. Hitch Height – XLT Tremor?

Took my first visit to the storage lot to check out the current hitch situation with the old pop-up camper, a Coleman E1 (GVWR: 3500 lbs, Tongue Wt: 315 lbs). I don't see much problem getting it to work. First pic shows the camper level with no contact on the ball, second pic shows the camper's...
