I looked at the dealer for those too and decided against it. I've ranted about the disgusting pricing many times. The bolts are just as ridiculous. Last I checked the bolts were about $9 each. It was $165CDN for 2 tie downs and 4 bolts from the dealer, for what is likely less than $5 cost to...
Although I still haven't done it, I haven't forgotten about this thread. When it came up I had just zeroed my mpg computer after changing from winter tires. With winters the computer was saying about 14L/100km (16.8mpg), after swapping to summer and resetting it went up to 15L/100km (15.7mpg)...
I'm not saying you are wrong, but I have never seen a pump that doesn't have a safety shut off built into the mechanism to store the nozzle. The old days it was a lever that you had to manually move, modern pumps have a flap in the hood where the nozzle goes under and the nozzle flips it up...
I had mixed emotions about push button start at first, but it has become one of my favorite features on my Ranger. Not having fumble with keys or the fob during normal day to day activities is AWESOME! I just have a small piece of cord attached to it with no keys, no jingle jangle noises or...
I've had about 400lbs on it with no issue.
The plan is to carry about 600lbs on it for travel, then another 400lbs sleeping in the RTT when parked.
PS Edit ~400lbs depending on 1-2 people and 1-2 dogs, lol.
The factory setting was 2365mm for 265/60-18 but Tiresize.com lists 2433mm for that size.
I'm on 285/70-17 now which Tiresize.com lists at 2609mm so I set it to 2530mm which is the same 3% drop as 2365mm represents.
I didn't test it yet because I had a few glasses of wine already, just sat in...
$18 at the coin-op power washer afterward, and I still have enough mud inside one of the front rims that I have a shake at 65mph LOL.
Oil change this week which means I have to put it on stands to get the #2 skid plate off, so I'll pop the front wheels off and clean them out better.
I bought a set of F150 silver steelies many years ago then after the tires were worn out, I had them sand blasted and powder coated for new rubber. They turned out awesome, and cost me $100/rim.
I'm relatively sure they won't sand blast aluminum rims though, so depending on the method they use...
I have a 1&7/8" ball trailer and a 2" ball trailer. I had hitches for my previous truck and instead of replacing them with different heights, and again with my next potential truck I bought a multi-height adapter which can be used in almost any combination...
Rigid E-Series Spot Midnight 30 inch light bar installed today. Not wired yet, but got the holes drilled and hardware installed. The lens picked up some flash from the camera, but the light bar is much darker than it appears in the photo, and blends in very nicely with the blacked front end...
