This is exactly what I'm doing to my truck hopefully in the next week. Only difference is the wheels. Looks great!
What did you do with the crash bars?
Yes, agreed! I'm not standing in front of it, but I believe the plano box has a gasketed seal around the lid and everything going inside has some requirement for ventilation for proper heat dissipation, so that certainly won't work. I was contemplating cutting two holes and mounting computer...
Thank you both for the input! I actually already have two pressure washers ?. An 1800 PSI electric I use for cars and a gas powered 3200psi (I think) for cleaning the driveway and siding.
The 1800 seems to hit the mark for car washing... but a better foam cannon and foaming soap is probably the...
I also use a pressure washer and a foam cannon (but not a very good one- ryobi I think) and may up my game soon.
But I'm underwhelmed with my recent car wash soap purchase so maybe I'll pivot and give that a try. Thanks for the input!
Thanks! Now I just need the planets to align so my co-worker and I manage to have the same day off to install everything and run it to a good alignment shop. I've certainly found some bad ones in the area.?
If it drags out too long I'll find a shop to do it all for me I suppose, but I was...
Haha. Straight lines only- got it!
Wheels are +18 offset (approx. 1.5" further out) and I will be putting the eibach adjustable strut assemblies up front 2.5-3" with Icon UCAs and then icon multi rate leaf packs in the rear (probably stage 1= .35"??? I think) tires are 275/70R17 so calculated...
Very excited with how these look and can't wait to see how this is gonna look when it's done.
Though from this angle, the idea of no rub isn't looking to promising ?
Hang on a minute... i only skimmed the forum rules when i joined - was I supposed to grow a mustache? I may be unworthy of sitting amongst the ranks here...any mustache I try to grow is "creepy flesh colored" and would likely draw negative attention. May be time for me to take my leave and spare...
I know! I've been happy with all but one of their more recent products. It's likely more of an issue with the archer, not the bow.
But I'm always game to try a new product and see if it works better for me.
Probably a good idea to at least have a set on hand incase we slip into a mad max-esque dystopia in the near future.
Guess I have to build a guitar that spits flames. ?‍♂️
Ugh... I didn't come here for car cleaning tips. I was happy with my oversized milk crate full of McGuiars Ultimate line products. And yet, I now find my Amazon cart currently filled with 303 products after I could see up the reflection of your nose in your picture. ?
Do you recommend 303 car...
Thank you both. I'm definitely going to look them over and see if any areas look like it would be beneficial to add a little grease along with the bushings.
Do you see a need/benefit to replacing the bushings with the install? Truck only has 3,600 miles on it, so I'm guessing not unless there...
As I continue to "wing it" with this inverter project, my dc-to-dc charger and modified marine box arrived.
My two main routes:
Now I'm at a crossroads and not sure with way to go. With the size of the charger and inverter, I have an all-in-one solution with the larger plano box. I would...
While I don't have them personally, I've read a lot of recommendations for these rock sliders-> Shrocks Rocks sliders. Unlike some other "rock sliders", these actually bolt to the frame of your truck.
I have no input on a bull bar for these trucks. Had a nice westin black/brushed steel on my...
Got home from the shore with a few boxes waiting for me. My son and I promptly dug in and finished the ditch light install (accidentally ordered momentary instead of latching switches first go around) by drilling and mounting the switch. Fits nicely next to the fuse icon in the fuse access...
