I get that alert often. Even with my hands at 2 and 10 O'clock. it's part of the lane keep assist.
I don't want to turn off the lane keep assist. just increase the interval of when the Keep hands on wheel alert alerts.
according to the manual, when the truck does not detect steering input...
I have read the printed copy of the owners manual and the online version on the Ford Pass app to see if i can adjust the setting for this particular problem. I have never seen the cup of coffee alert.
The Hand on Steering Wheel Alert is part of the Lane Keep Assist.
Note: When you select...
Mirrors adjusted the correct way (same as OP) so I don't really need the BS monitor(pun Intended). I do have all the sensors on and set to max sensitivity. I figure since i paid for them, might as well use them. I still don't trust them at all and probably never will.
Better to have it and...
Since your in AZ, Sanderson Ford in Glendale does the Line-X liners. I went there to get mine bed sprayed. the reasoning is that they are a ford dealer, which means they have more practice on spraying Rangers than does any other aftermarket company.
When I got my truck the "Tech Guy" was going to show me how to install the FordPass app and do a walk around to show me all the features of the truck.
I ended up showing the "Tech Guy" many features of the app and the truck.
I heard many times " Oh, I didn't know that".
Out in Maricopa, those dust storms shut everything down. Traffic was stopped on the 347 and I swear that someone was throwing buckets of dirt on my windshield for about 1/2 hour.
once the dust settles down. the rain starts. LOTS of rain. Flooding parking lots and knocking down trees. After...
Good thing I'm not planning on buying another car anytime soon. I'll be looking at other options for parts/accessories.
On a side note. I have a non-hitch rear bumper if anyone needs one.
I just got home from having the OE hitch installed. My son got it for me for Fathers day, just didn't have the time to get it installed until now. I don't know how much he paid for it so I won't include that in this little rant.
I paid $220 for installation. I was expecting it to be more...
My first ranger, it was a Impulse purchase. I knew nothing other than it looked like fun.
In 1993 I was passing a Ford dealer in ABQ, there was a 1993 Dark Plum 4x4 Ranger on a rack. I pulled into the lot to check it out, looked around for a few minutes when some guy smoking a cigarette...
I noticed that some things near the fob, such as a phone and sometimes my wallet w/ magnetic money holder, will block the signal and not allow the touch the handle to lock/unlock to work.
First daily driver was a "78 Datsun B210. My mom gave it to me after my sister ran a stop sign and t-boned another car. I drove that for 2 years with a smashed front end. I traded it in for my first Ford daily driver, 1990 Ford Fiesta. I had that for 3 years. I gave my Mom the Fiesta when...
I have the Note 10+.
I have seen this before on my Focus(Sync 1), Mustang(Sync 2) and the Ranger(Sync3.3 and 3.4)
I think it's a Phone problem more than a Sync issue.
Reboot the phone. This is what fixed my problems with the Bluetooth and Sync.
on the Mustang (Sync 2), I deleted the phone...
A laundry basket attached to the rear tie-down with a rope. I let the tailgate slowly lower, then have the wife pull the rope to retrieve the basket.
OR
A rugged bin with a lid attached to the rear tie-down with a large diameter para-cord. I let the tailgate slam open and pull the cord to...
Porpoise Hork is absolutely correct in the adjustment of the side mirrors.
I have been using this method for at least 10 years and find that the blind spot lights are worthless. When you see the light, you see the car, No light-No Car.
it may take a little time to get used to it, but it...
3 months and 12,500 miles.
I would have been around 7,000 miles if it wasn't for a 5,000 mile round trip journey from AZ to ND one weekend. The seats are very comfortable. we didn't need to make extra stops to "stretch my legs". just gas and hotel stops.
