Lowering isn’t all that difficult while mounted with the right setup. The shop you had it done at should be able to dial that in as you do have the adjustment
Many of us on here have done the ABS bleed via Forscan as Chris said. Definitely eliminates the spongy or soft pedal feel. Remarkable difference afterwards and well worth the time invested to do it. You’ll probably pass on the line upgrading once you do that automated Forscan bleed. Be warned...
I noticed with mine (have collector engine cover) over time a fine dusting of dirt covers the entire engine compartment. If I did have water intrusion you would see evidence of that on the engine cover. Stripes of where water ran off would be evident.

Looks like you got water getting into the plug hole. Threads on here about that but, there is a TSB on this from Ford too. Their solution is to install an engine cover to divert the water.
