  1. New Ranger, Poor Mileage so far...

20,000 miles from past experience with non-turbo motors. Lariat is my 1st vehicle with a turbo motor.
  2. New Ranger, Poor Mileage so far...

Californians are paying the highest prices in the nation. I paid $5.39.9 for 93 E0 a couple of weeks back - the priciest gasoline here in NC.
  3. Do I need tailgate dampers?

I don't understand all of the fuss over the dampers as they should have been OEM. Those of us who own White Rangers KNOW we have something truly special. :)
  4. New Ranger, Poor Mileage so far...

I felt my motor 'Cross the Rubicon' at around the 4,000 mark break-in wise. 12,484 miles as of today - still not fully broke in. Ford Ecoboost Tune installed before 3,000 miles. Currently averaging just under 22 mpg in my urban/rural mix. Ethanol blended gasolines will lower your average...
  5. Maverick in at my local dealership, compared to my ranger

I like the new Maverick! Looks like the perfect vehicle for the grand daughter who just started driving.....:like:
  6. Alignment?

I thought Lariat steered just fine, but after the new shocks-struts-4 wheel alignment Lariat now steers even better.....
  7. ? How Many Times Per Week (and for how long)?

The same youthful guitarist also well played 'Secret Agent Man' by Johnny Rivers from the prime time tv show. Those were the days - wondering what happened to everyone....
  8. Think I Threw a Rod....

The '6th sense' I like to refer to. I had my 'Come to Jesus' moment at 16yo when I saw an approaching car at an intersection where I had the right of way - residential-urban area. My bike was totaled with me going to the hospital - he was 'running late for work'. Was out of work/school for a...
  9. What was your first Ford daily driver?

Some 8 track units were clearly better than others. During the early 1970s, Craig FM/8 track units with the high end Craig speakers were the ticket for 'inexpensive'(?) aftermarket installation. Recalling a late '60s Fury II with a Craig setup that probably cost as much as the car did. Was...
  10. ? How Many Times Per Week (and for how long)?

I never would have remembered this one until you mentioned it. Recalling a 4th grade guitarist (from a family of guitarists) who played GLORIA at the school talent contest......
  11. How much HP Gained

I'll look at a Mustang GT first.....
  12. ? How Many Times Per Week (and for how long)?

In the spirit of this thread: Battery Tenders and two hit wonders like THEM out of Belfast, Northern Ireland. Their other big hit was GLORIA. Van Morrison made a guest appearance in the following:
  13. Anyone NOT use vehicle wifi hotspot?

Maybe there's not an update available for your 2022?
  14. Home Repairs - Home Improvements

House washing was completed friday. Guy brought his girlfriend and their infant along - she helped when she wasn't tending to the baby. They did a good job overall. Everything came in at under $9,000 ($8,750). I'm happy. Now , get to work on the inside....
  15. New (aftermarket) Engine Covers

Source of cover?!?! Inquiring minds want to know....
  16. What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

Lariat received its monthly cleanup today...
  17. True North - Down East

I've seen moose on the road only once, while on my way to visit a customer in Chicoutimi, QC on route 175. Quite an imposing creature....looked like an elderly 'hippy' with its hair hanging off of its face....can't find a similar image...perhaps it was a different animal closely related....
  18. Alabama Fines Hyundai, Kia Parts Manufacturers Over ‘Oppressive Child Labor’

The writing around here is often awful. Thinking a reported 5% failure rate triggers (or is supposed to_) a federal recall here in the U.S. No telling what's actually happening as the NTSB, and its predecessor the CAB were/are little more than political pawns....:frown:
  19. New (aftermarket) Engine Covers

What a load of shit. Can't compare celebrity owned speed boats with consumer pickup trucks. The celebrities are probably so darned stoned they think they are on a rocket ship to Mars to meet with the locals there!?!? Ford did a disservice by not providing the hard foam engine cover to...
