Took a few days...but finally got it done today. :)
Hidden winch mount with RC pro 9500S.
The mount itself is very well made. :like:Thanks @589FAB
I was able to fit the @SVC Offroad light bar, which I Initially thought would not work with the hidden winch mount.
Iām glad it did! The light bar...
Hey guys,
I just noticed that in your pics after relocation,
the 2 screws on the sensor module,
(originally on top with the oem bracket)
is mounted upside down and is now in the bottom?
Any issues?
I relocated mine before installing my hidden winch,
but since my fab fours bracket order is not...
Iām happy with mine. I like how the color around it also corresponds to the Voltage, ( red, yellow, green)
Just to let you know...at start up, the voltmeter would blink and display higher voltage(around 15+ volts). Then go to normal mode after a few seconds.
I believe this is when the Rangers...
The one I use has a braided hose line. ?
Iāve had one since the late 90ās to early 2000ās.
I bought more, cause the original one I got took a beating, it didnt have the rubber outer cover that they now offer.
It still works after all these years.
Been using these since my Jeep days...lol
I got one in each car/ truck.
Accurate and easy to use.
I also keep my ARB inflator/ gauge in the truck.
a bit pricey, but good quality.
Almost there...It got late and too cold here(30āsF)
I just want to Thank @589FAB for shipping these out promptly.
And for making an awesome hidden winch mount! :like:
I ended up moving the control box and added L bracket,
because I have an existing Aux power box.
@Chattownranger, thanks for...
I just want to post this here and to say that the SVC light bar is one very solid piece. Itās really hefty and well made. :like:
It mounts on the 2 bumper mounts up front, But the lower fascia/ bumper trim has to be removed first.
Iām kinda bummed, because Iām installing a hidden winch mount...
That would be the āidealā setup. Unfortunately, thereās not
alot of room in these trucks for a 2nd battery in the engine bay.
(I tried with my first Ranger and also my F150 Raptor. I ended up just running the Isolator wires all the way from batt to the bed for the 2nd battery).
I remember...
Haha...did they rebrand it?
Either way...its a great tool! Congrats. ?
ETA: your post made me check my rewards...Iām sitting on 42000 points right now and didānt even know about it. lol
Time to check out what I can redeem it for. ?
Might be too late, but hereās why I ditched the battery booster cables and battery packs.
This Noco charger is worth checking out.
I have one in each vehicle and our boat. I even gave away one as gift.
It holds a charge really well, sometimes takes 2-3 months before I get a chance to check it...
Just my thoughts...
I added a voltmeter display, purely because I dont have the setting on my instrument panel like my 2 previous Raptors did.
I like to keep an eye on the voltage, but from my experience It Does fluctuate and it never bothered me. I know it varies with demand/load how much...
Hereās what worked on my XLT.
These are led 1:1 size same as stock halogens, No fan
but has heatsink design.
I had no problem installing these in the stock high and low beam locations and putting the dust cover back. The fog lights were a pita, but manageable after I got rid of the FX4 plastic...
Nothing wrong with that. I used similar ones on our older Subarus.
Easy peasy, keeps an eye on batt voltage.:like:
But, since I already had my panel out to install my Aux switches...
I opted for the standalone voltmeter.
I dont really need two 12volt cigar plug, lol
My understanding is:
The pedal commander does not affect the Rangers sport mode.
(transmission gear shift mode)
It basically connects in between the oem throttle pedal and harness
and lets you customize how fast or quick your throttle response is.
(I feel that the delay or lag is less when you...
Thanks for your feedback on the PC-18.
I finally got the chance to install mine today.
Mine is velcroād next to the touchscreen ( for now).
But, Iām thinking since I can access it via App/bluetooth...I might just hide it behind the knee panel/ next to the fuse.
So far Iām liking the sport...
