The front driveshaft doesn’t have a normal ujoint. It uses a CV/Rzeppa type connection. They may be serviceable but the driveshaft would have to come out.

Yes and if it’s not a Ford warranty then I can see the dealer possibly having issues either contacting the 3rd party warranty or getting answers from them. In that case it’s not the dealers or Fords fault.

Got my truck back today. Lower control arm replaced under ESP plan with $200 deductible. HPFP replaced under 5/60 powertrain. I’m really fortunate to have a good dealer that works with me.
