  1. Turn off adaptive transmission process!

Lol sorry, was busy finishing up some mods and maint today and ran out of time to test drive. Just got to finish some welding in the AM and then I’ll be able to drive it ?
  2. Turn off adaptive transmission process!

The turning off transmission adaptive learning function appeared in Forscan for my 2020 and the function executed successfully. I cleared KAM and adaptive KAM while I was at it and will test drive tomorrow. Removing the Ford Performance tune to run Forscan and reinstalling after was trouble free...
  3. Turn off adaptive transmission process!

I plan to clear the learned parameters and keep it from adapting again. My truck always shifts best right after resetting adaptations.
  4. Turn off adaptive transmission process!

Just found this over at Explorer Forum: https://www.explorerforum.com/forums/threads/forscan-v2-3-55-now-supports-disable-the-transmission-adaptive-learning.503273/ As of beginning of the month it looks like latest version of Forscan will let you disable the adaptive learning. I’ll be...
  5. OXFORD WHITE Ranger Club Thread

    Love the gold wheels!
  6. Some dyno results for the naysayers.

I think ZincGT is the only Ranger I’ve seen with a bigger turbo (says it’s the worlds highest HP Ranger on YT). Maybe once the warranty is up I’ll consider and go HP Tuners. I need to research how the Focus RS does with turbo upgrades as some sort of point of reference. The 10R80 can take the...
  7. Some dyno results for the naysayers.

@Vitis805 - I believe what @Loweredon33s means by “naysayers” was not a reference to anyone here by default, but he mentioned that on the FB group for Ranger Performance that discussing dyno data there devolves into many naysayers chiming in. He is newer to this forum and decided to post his...
  8. Some dyno results for the naysayers.

I don’t have a FB account but I used to follow your Ford Ranger Performance Group page by searching it via Google, but looks like it’s locked down now to where you can’t even view it anymore without a FB account. Some good stuff on that page. ?
  9. Some dyno results for the naysayers.

Just a note for all on the dyno graphs that @Loweredon33s posted. The big numerical values of data jump in 100’s of HP on graph vs 25 or 50 as can be seen on other graphs out there. Each dot on the vertical axis is worth 7hp. While the 3 pulls on the first graph might look close together, when...
  10. Some before and after PPE(Shallow) pan data logs

Unfortunately I do not. However once you look at it you will find it very easy to understand.
  11. Some before and after PPE(Shallow) pan data logs

There are 3 ports on the external trans cooler thermostat. I capped all 3 with large rubber vacuum caps and left the electrical plug plugged into it. This allows the ECU to not throw a fault code thinking there’s an issue with the thermostat opening / closing. You remove the line that left the...
  12. Some before and after PPE(Shallow) pan data logs

Thank you for the recommendation! I saw that one but no specs on their page on if it holds extra coolant like the Mishimoto page does. Did you happen to notice if fluid capacity was higher when refilling during install?
  13. Some before and after PPE(Shallow) pan data logs

Thanks for the data logging @ctechbob! With the PPE deep pan, SPD 170 deg thermostat, and trans cooler thermostat bypassed (because it’s an external electrical component programmed to not allow coolant flow until 195 deg), I average in the low to mid 170’s. If heat soaked in rush hour traffic on...
  14. I’m thinking of a 6 speed manual. Thoughts?

Buy a wrecked Bronco with a manual as a donor vehicle for the 3rd pedal mod.
  15. RCMUSTANG's Magnetic FX4

haha just install and enjoy seeing those lower transmission temps. Love mine!
  16. Observations From a Trip Towing.....

I have noticed that the cooler the transmission fluid has been the better the shifts.
  17. Observations From a Trip Towing.....

I have the first gen PPE pan and thankfully no issues on my 2020. Fluid temps did drop a solid 20 deg and having the drain plug is an awesome upgrade too.
