Thank you! I was pretty grumpy last night.
I've priced out new parts and I'm thinking $10,000 also. Who knows, I'll report back after seeing the body shop this morning.
ONE DOLLAHHHHH!!!!!
My insurance company recommended the shop. It'll be charged to her insurance.
Any claims we have made over the years have been repaired to new no fuss. I think our Quebec system works well in that regard.
My wife and daughter were parked at the Sports plex waiting for me to arrive this afternoon.
This lady backs out, clueless and slams right into my Ranger! Didn't even slow down after she hit.
Them electric cars sure have some smashing power!
I have an appointment with a body shop tomorrow at...
Thank you!
Yeah I think I needed XLT for whatever reason, I can't rem why now! I'm certainly not a fan of all the radar sensors etc having learned how to drive in a Dodge Dart in 1977 ?
Thank you, here in Quebec it'll get done at the insurance company's chosen body shop. All OEM parts etc.... Still trying to decide which way to go.
The truck is leased so I need to choose wisely.
Haha such ingenuity!!
I think that is indeed the route I will go....DIY is totally my thing and with the help of all the members here I think this will be a relatively easy repair.
And since my deductible is $500 purchasing a decent replacement with BLIS is not far off that number, so no claims!
Someone in my family backed gently into something the other day and broke the rear tail light.
Do I have to replace the whole unit or can the plastic part be replaced?
Hoping to avoid an insurance claim at those prices!
As a follow up, I bought a Tap and Die set on sale and cleaned out the bottom holes. The eye bolts screwed in real nice afterwards and I have one of my milk cartons in place now. I still have to take the time to drill out the broken bolt. Vice grips can't get it done.
