I bought my 2019 about 10 days ago, and I see all kinds of posts about the transmissions going bad. I have the ford blue warranty for another 80ish days, is there any service I could schedule that would reveal if the transmission needs replaced? A transmission fluid change or something...
Yeah for sure. If I ever have anything I really need the extra tie downs for I’ll probably buy some but for now just an extra spot for bungee cords rather than anything heavy duty
The holes I installed them into are the two that are meant for the third (middle) tie down that used to come factory installed. Therefore I would assume they can handle a pretty decent amount of force. I’m not using it for anything crazy heavy though just support. I saw some reviews complaining...
It was just a $20 net on Amazon that hooks up to my tie downs, I have a little milk crate full of crud back there that the net holds steady as I drive around
There was some bedliner in there but I just forced them with the wrench and they went right in. It was a struggle to get them started...
