  1. Struts/Shocks

The Tacoma I looked at when I was truck shopping cost more than the Ranger. I believe the Ranger is better and cost less. Sometimes things are overpriced and not better for the cost. Only time will tell…
  2. Struts/Shocks

The squat is 3/4 inch. I’m guessing the tongue weight is a little over 350 when I picked it up. Didn’t weight it but lift 5 days a week and have a pretty good idea on weight. Hopefully the pictures attach.
  3. Struts/Shocks

I haven’t noticed it squatting in the rear. I will probably have my boat hooked up tonight if not tomorrow for sure. I will get it on level ground and take a picture and post it. If I remember I will measure before I hook it up and then after to see how much it squats. I didn’t measure the rear...
  4. Ohhh The Butt Hurt. Looks like the Poopy Bus is here. LOL

The 2.7 and 3.0 engine options are pretty awesome. I’m a sucker for power though. Once Livernois and Unleashed start offering tunes there’s going to be some hurt feelings at the drag strip is my guess.
  5. Struts/Shocks

I have the RC leveled struts and tow my boat year around with no issues. I have had mine for a little over a year and drive off road a decent amount hunting. I don’t do any crazy off-roading like rock crawling or anything. Living by the coast in SC it’s sand and mud when it comes to off-roading...
  6. Tremor Suspension take offs on XLT

To go with what SDXLT said. Changing rear shocks is the best bang for the buck suspension improvement in my opinion. It makes a huge difference. I went with Bilstein shocks. Honestly there probably isn’t much of a difference between Eibach, Bilstein, Old Man Emu or the other premium brands ride...
  7. What did you do to your Ranger today?

My vote is rear shocks. I changed mine 2 weeks ago. Holy smokes what a night and day difference. I would have changed the rear shocks the day I bought it if I had known how bad the stock ones were lol. Last week I replaced the stock Hankooks with a set of Coopers. It drives so much better...
  8. Advice for new Ranger owner

I have the Rough Country 2.5in/leveling coil overs. They were 350ish I think from Stage 3 Motorsports. They are a site sponsor so you can PM them for a price. I was in the same situation. I don’t do anything crazy off road like the guys that live near mountains. Mine is all logging roads and...
  9. How about some Jokes [Admin: No Politics, Religion, Nudity, Explicit Posts]

I could probably make a fortune on busy weekends where I live. You’ve never seen chaos till you’ve seen people at a boat ramp when tides are going in or out lol.
  10. Washboarded Roads

I can’t agree more with what Dave said. Changing out the stock FX4 rear shocks was the best thing I have done to improve the ride. They helped the ride more than changing out the fronts. We have lots of dirt/sand roads around here. It made a huge difference. I went with the Bilstein shocks but...
  11. Cooper Rugged Trek Air Pressure

It’s not bad at 40psi but they are also brand new. I’m going to chalk them the first day it’s not going to rain and see how they look.
  12. Cooper Rugged Trek Air Pressure

Yes, in the initial email I stated it was for a 2020 FX4 Crew Cab with the towing package. I figured there could be different recommended pressure between a Ranger and 1 ton.
  13. Installation Shops

Just saw this thread. If your still looking for a place. I used Mc n tires automotive in Rockwell when I used to live around there. Robin is the owner. They were phenomenal with everything. From an AC line on my wife’s car to doing the leveling kit on my Dakota and buying tires never one issue...
