I just ordered a new bumper cover from Ford. I figured that any other options would cost me more than the $125 it cost me to do this. I'll post some before/after pics after I'm done with the install. Let's hope there isn't too much damage to the metal underneath.
any idea where I could find something like that? is there something already made that exists out there? it's the lettering for P, R, N, D, S that I'm concerned about.
it seems like the finish has been rubbed off of the surface. I was thinking maybe it was scrubbed too hard with a cleaner they shouldn't have been using there. But I don't know.
I bought this truck sight unseen. I got it with a number of issues that I have posted here, including a bad smoke...
on my new-to-me used 2019 Ranger XL, the plastic around the shifter is discolored/faded. I don't know what caused this, but I'd like to consider fixing it. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this? is it a matter of just replacing the part or is there something else going on that I...
On my new-to-me used 2019 Ranger XL, it came with a few rips in the bumper cover that I would like to fix. That would mean either replacing the bumper cover or the entire thing. I'm happy with stock and don't really have a desire to change to an OEM one, unless is makes sense financially. I can...
this won't impact your Ham radio mount issue, but if you are looking for a solid phone mount, I'm happy with this one: https://coursemotorsports.com/collections/phone-mounts-1/products/direct-fit-magnetic-phone-mount-ford-ranger-2015
I'm considering getting a crossover tool box for my Ranger XL S-Cab. Does anyone have a recommendation of one that you love (or one you would avoid)? I have a UWS crossover on my Sierra that I like, but I'm not necessarily tied to that brand.
If you have one, I'd love to see some pictures of...
I am still considering it, but leaning towards holding off for now. I have so many other things I want to do to the truck. Plus, I will tow a trailer tomorrow with a 2000ish lb load and I'll see how it does before I mess with things
As far as I know, the tow rating on the bumper is only 3,500 lbs. You can install a Class III hitch for up to 7,500 lbs. towing. I don't think I'd be comfortable putting a 6 x 12 loaded with all your stuff on the bumper. But would have no problem on a 2" receiver.
I'm actually in the process...
OP here. Thanks for all the advice. I may regret it later, but I opted to not buy the extended warranty. Let's hope the Ranger is as reliable as I think it will be. I'm pretty comfortable fixing things on my own anyway (or watching youtube videos and learning how).
This is a helpful site- if you put in your current tire size and what you're going to, look at the bottom and you'll see a chart for speedometer error.

I tried coffee grounds, baking soda, OdoBan, Lysol, air fresheners, etc. I have a new cabin air filter that will arrive tomorrow, so I'll change that (I pulled out the old dirty one already). I found a good deal on the ozone generator ($50) that I'll use elsewhere, so not a bad purchase. I'll...
2019 Ranger XL STX 4x2 SuperCab. I know it is kind of boring when compared to a lot of the cool trucks on this site, but I'm working on making it less boring. Lots of cosmetic improvements on the way... I'll post pics later.
I wondered why my "new" '19 Ranger had such a good price. As soon as I opened the door, I knew one of the reasons- it reeks of cigarette smoke. I still feel like I got a good deal, but I've been working on getting the smell out. I searched the internet for ideas. I started with coffee...
Forgive my ignorance, as this is new to me. What do you mean by difference in fuel economy- do you mean that a lift improves it, or makes it worse?
I'm thinking about upgrading from the HT tires on it to all-terrains sometime soon. That sounds like a good time to do a lift, if I choose to. No...
I'll pull a 5,000 lb trailer maybe once a year, a 3,000 lb trailer a few times a year, and maybe haul a truckload of lumber a few times a year (maybe 1,500 lbs). With my other truck (GMC Sierra that is going with my son to college in a few months), I also get a couple of scoops of topsoil 3-4...
I am considering doing a leveling kit on my 2wd Ranger, as I agree that it looks a lot better. But, I intend to use my truck to haul lumber, a 600-lb motorcycle, and tow a trailer from time to time and don't want to screw with something that would alter my ability to tow or carry a load. Can...
I'm going to keep looking- I guess I will have to shell out more than I intended for the right ones. The good thing is that isn't urgent. The vinyl floor provides a measure of protection already. I've already dropped $500 on things for the Ranger and I haven't even had it two days!
The obligatory picture after putting on the tailgate letters. I think it is an improvement. Also put on a damper, but I think there has been enough discussion about that.
The hitch, front grill letters, phone mount, and nerf bars are on the way.
I've been thinking about adding an exhaust...
I just joined the Oxford White Ranger Club today! I took delivery of my "new" 2019 2WD Ranger STX Supercab. It has 54k miles on it and it seems to be a great truck.
I have ordered a few things that are being shipped as I write:
Draw-tite Class III hitch
tailgate and front grill letter...
