The big bolt required my 1/2" drive pull handle, along with some extensions and maybe a universal to reach it.
I got to use my Trek Step several times last week and it was money well spent.
Went to a local dealership this morning and had them program the Securicode keypad that came with the truck when I custom ordered it last year.
I used some of my Fordpass points to pay for it.
When the lovely wife and I got home after antiquing in a nearby town, I installed it below the...
An old barn near my house. Built in 1901, I think.
I drove by it a few weeks ago and some Hollywood production company was filming in the pasture next door. You might see it on TV or in a movie someday.
It was a productive day and the Ranger got to play a part in it.
This morning I loaded up a bunch of tools and went to a piece of property that I inherited from Dad in 2019. I had to help a friend of Dad get two out of three cars moved to be trailered away at a later date. He had purchased them...
I bought new (last summer) and have no regrets.
Judging from all of the "tailgate damper installing/lift kitting/CV axle boot tearing/crash bar cutting/tuning/change their minds/rip the mods off/trade it in for a Ridgeline" Ranger owners out there, I'd rather get one that I know it hasn't been...
I paid it off this morning.
I had made 5 payments so far and didn't feel doing that anymore. There was no penalty for early payoff.
It has 871 miles on it now. :) I'm hoping it'll be the last vehicle I ever purchase.
Nothing special, I pulled it out of the garage and drove it around the neighborhood. It hasn't moved in 3 weeks, I think. I know I need to get out more.
It's so much fun to drive. My previous vehicle was a 2001 Bullitt GT and the Ranger feels much more nimble even though it's ride height isn't...
Ford should team up with Walmart and make another special edition Ranger. Factory installed tailgate damper and "Ford F'n Ranger" decals on the bed. :D I predict increased sales.
I was working on paying bills this evening, including the payment for the Ranger and I thought to myself "It hasn't been driven in a month."
So I drove it a few miles and got on it a little. :)
I know some people get the tuning, but I couldn't be happier with how much power it already has...
"Going north of 500"
I learned about my ignition bezel, seat covers, floor mats and Trek Step from this forum.
Everything else on the truck were options/accessories when I placed the order.
My truck is "complete."
That's my way of thinking, as well and it'll never change. Why would a performance truck be a 4 door in the first place? Isn't the Supercab a lighter vehicle?
To remove all doubts, I custom ordered the rear seat delete on my Supercab. :) Now that's performance, lol.
