I bought it directly from Amazon on Christmas Day.
They had only three in stock at that time. I just checked and it's "currently unavailable."
It was $270.64
The mounting bracket is probably 1/4" steel and the mechanism is pretty much all aluminum.
No idea how it would survive up north, but I'd imagine the salt would be hell on it.
Well, this thread is timely. I installed my Trek Step earlier this afternoon and couldn't be happier with it.
The price didn't scare me. I just bought a $30,000+ truck, might as well spend a little more to make it the way I want it.
25+ years of different back injuries have ended my ability...
The LED night light trick does indeed work great.
The auto stop/start was my only real gripe when it comes to nanny stuff.
If my Ranger had commercials popping up on the screen, that would be a big, big problem. Commercials are one of the reasons I quit watching TV.
Santa didn't bring this, I ordered it off of Amazon on Christmas Day while I was sitting on the couch with the lovely wife and watching the fire.
I am so done with the milk crate method, lol. Maybe it'll be installed before the weekend is over.
Another weekend, another curio cabinet purchased. The lovely wife is trying to kill me, not so lol.
This one was purchased from her aunt. It used to belong to my wife's grandmother.
We got it inside without a scratch or breaking any glass. We have a perfect record...eight purchased, picked up...
Technically I already did. My first Ranger was purchased in 1988.
Would I purchase another new generation Ranger? Yes, if mine got totalled or stolen, yes, I would custom order another one.
I'm hoping the one I bought earlier this year will last the rest of my life.
I can help with two of the questions.
It took Ford three months to build and deliver my 2020 Ranger 4X2 STX. Ordered in July, picked up first week in October.
I have the optional Ford Performance/Borla exhaust and I like it. Some people might not like it because it's actually kinda tame, in my...
I'm at work doing nothing so I built a F-150 with X plan pricing, just like how I built my Ranger.
Not including the incentives/discounts, the F150 was around 9K more expensive, it wouldn't be what I wanted and it wouldn't even fit in my garage, lol.
I had the day off so I could do some errands and it gave me a chance to drive the Ranger. (I'm usually in my company vehicle or the wife's Escape)
Early morning picture...
It now has over 500 miles on it. :D I put gas in it for the 2nd time this evening and made a picture of the MPG. I guess...
They must be rare around here. My Supercab is the only one I ever see, except for two fleet Supercabs. One was a pest control company and I can't remember what the other one was.
I had to custom order mine. It took three months and it was worth the wait to get what I wanted.
The lovely wife and I drove an hour away and purchased a like new curio cabinet. Brought it home and got it inside before the rain started coming down.
This is our 6th curio cabinet and it's our biggest one. (40" X 83" X 13") This one is going to be for family photos and other antique items...
I actually drove mine a few days ago. It has 358 miles on it now. :) I have a company vehicle and we usually drive the wife's Escape on weekends, so the STX doesn't move much.
Magnetic was the ideal color, too. Subtle and stylish.
