I prefer to have the Nav not on my phone, but maybe this is a lower tier priority. In some order, I have: - tires - winch - tune - then Nav, I suppose Somewhere in there I guess is dampers and engine covers, but those confuse me, so they'll probably wait.

How is the Ford factory nav? I am considering doing an APIM swap to add factory Nav, but was wondering how those of you with it like it. In my Jeep, I always used phone based Google Maps because the maps in the Jeep were old, and the directions always seemed off. Didn't consider traffic...

Ended up today popping the axle out and repairing the cv joint. Getting the axle out was way easier than I expected. The issue with the joint was the bearings were pushed hard up against the axle, so they wouldn't go back into their tracks in the end piece. Had to push them back out to give...

What tires did you get?

I loosened the nut on the ground, but didn't take it off. All I can figure is the axle slid back into the hub, then stretched out the inner boot when I was leaning on the LCA. It looks like vacuum effect might be happening.

I bought a 250 lb-ft torque wrench at home depot for about $50. My other only go to 50, and I think 150. You can get a piece of steel pipe at home depot to put over the end of your torque wrench, which gives you a 5 or 6 foot breaker bar. Pretty easy to break them loose or tighten them up...

I took the axle nut off, and pushed the axle out of the hub. How I overextended the inner cv is a mystery I'll never solve. The axle wasn't totally clear of the hub, but all the splines and threads were out.

Name gives it away, eh? I traded a Jeep for this truck. Hopefully this will all be fixed by next weekend, then I'll go ride some trails before the leaves come back. Want to do a hidden winch up front too, but might just keep the hijack handy for now. Not too many places in the natl forest to...
