I'm in the same boat. Got my vin# last wk, but I'm in order processing. However my dealer says it shows tentative production scheduled for wk of March 30th.
I ordered mine 2nd wk of Jan. Lariat Tremor. Carbonized gray.
You'll be able to bootleg them by getting someone's Vin I'm sure, but it certainly limits tremor parts from being purchased for non tremors significantly.
People are paying over $4000 to have a tremor. So I think Ford wants to protect it.
As they should be. Or why have different models. Just make a base with a bunch of available adds. They are trying to protect and give incentive to purchase certain models or series. If everyone can mod to a tremor, why have the trim pkg group as it would no longer be anything unique or special.
7/13. 4dr first edition cyber orange. Order is in locked in status now, so Ford has reviewed and locked in commitment to build.
Ranger tremor is in carbonized gray and is due at the end of march.
Better back seat[split fold flat, more comfort/tilt back], 2.7l option, especially on tremor, and/or a perfornance tune option that accommodates towing, better shifter and dash buttons, ac seats, power recline/memory front seat/s, moon roof option, power rear slider, bed lights, tailgate damper...
Depends on how you're using truck. If hwy c, if off road gravel lots of hvy towing then e/lt. If you're using as a daily driver and gonna be on pavement mostly you'll be happier with the c rated by far. Hope this helps.
Also having had many sets of ko2 and atx tires on several different types of vehicles, I have found the grabber atx to be a much better tire for the price. They do better in snow and on wet pavement and don't hold as much gravel in tread. I've found ko2s to be terrible in rain or wet pavement...
If using off road, driving lots of gravel roads, or towing/hauling heavy weight use lt tires. Lt are tougher and harder tires and thicker side walls, but weigh more. If hwy driving and only occasional off road, gravel, tow then use c. C are lighter and softer so they provide better mpg and grip...
