So I find this interesting. On my 2022 Ranger the top 3 fasteners on the drivers side splash guard, to be removed so you can flap down, are 10mm.
The passenger side are all phillips type.
Regardless, I'm tackling this 1st oil change as a challenge and make sure I have ample time to complete. I've been here before with one of my Jeeps so it is just a matter of persistence?
I have a new Motorcraft Oil Filter and Motorcraft Full synthetic ready to go. I may even do the oil change early since the break-in (first 500 miles) is certainly over at this point.
Plenty of highway and offroad trips in the mountains. That's what I got the truck for and to work on the cabins...
Thanks for clarification. It may be what I saw was someone going to use OEM and had to get off a lube center off brand filter.
I have a 76mm 14 flute so I should be OK.
Only at 1800 miles and getting things together so when the time comes -
I have what I need in the garage for the first oil change.
From what I seen on YouTube and reading forums it appears that the
...initial oil filter is a different size?...
Is this correct?
If so, what size is the filter...
It's a Bakflip Revolver X4s Tonneau.
Super flush to bed top and rolls to open. I get nothing but compliments on the look. And locks along rails. I love it.
It came in a bow (curved - I guess to fit in the box) and I was concerned at first but it lays flat and installed easy.
Not sure why the send it bowed. I could see if stored for a long period of time in the wrong place it could stay bowed.
I would put it in the sun and put weigh on it for a day...
Received and installed my Ford tailgate cover.
Love the look, protection and the beer perches.
Let me say that " Levittown Ford Parts " is the ticket.
I shopped around and most everyone was a least 2 weeks to get the tailgate cover. I just order this the other day and received installed. Got to...
Ordered one of these Ford Tailgate liners from LevittownFordParts
I'll post pics when it arrives and gets installed.
Got to love the 2 Cold Beer perches
