I randomly got fed this video on youtube tonight. Glad I found it because my brakes feel softer than they should. But I thought maybe it was a Ford thing because my old Grand Marquis was the same way. What really got my attention was that the 2 Colorados at work have a much higher brake pedal...
Not my truck. He's already said it did a number on the electronics. He wanted to know about fixing the paint, but the big debate has been whether to keep it or total it
Ok, a little hype never hurt anyone, but a member of a group I'm in on Facebook posted about his 5th Gen being hit by lightning. He's having many electrical issues but the interesting part is the paint damage to the truck itself

Have you hit anything recently with the front of the truck? I had a collision that did next to no damage to my Ranger but it dislodged the ACC sensor in the grille. Took a good hard pull to get it back in place but that fixed my issues with the blocked sensor.
As for the map updates, you can go...
Not to mention almost 20 years outdated when shipped. Tried to use car play one time and phone and truck refused to play nicely so I used the built in navigation. It took me down a road that I don't go down because part of if closed in the early 2000s. Sure enough, it was trying to route me onto...
That's a good question. This seems to affect most, if not all, Ford/Lincoln vehicles 2019-2023, for a total of about 383,000. I've only seen this post and others on other Ford vehicle forums. Goes back to July 22 and only based on correspondence others have gotten.
There is a Ford website...
This thread was first I heard about it. Digging around, it looks like I’m affected but when I go to the Ford site and enter my VIN, I get nothing. I wonder if it’s gradual to keep from overwhelming dealers
What cured my mom of driving with the light on was running out of gas while driving in a tropical storm and running out. Had driven back and forth to work for 3 or 4 days with the light on and ran out on her way home. Fortunately, she made it into a parking lot, but it wasn't fun going out in...
I'm waiting to get pulled over for DUI using that. Apparently, around here three is the minimum number of blinks to legally indicate a lane change and many drunk drivers let it blink 3 times and turn it off to avoid detection
Haven't really seen much of the 6g's but I like my 5g better just on overall looks that I have seen. I have a '19 XLT that has been up-optioned with some things so it's almost a Lariat as it is. Still looks new and is as good as with only 16k miles on it. I added running boards and the engine...
Thanks for this. This will help me make sure everything is aligned physically. I saw where someone had used FORScan to calibrate the sensor and there is definitely a calibration item listed in the menu. Like I said, that will be my next day off next week.
As for damage, when I say very minor, I...
It was alternating between the two, but mostly sensor. Then I found the loose mounting and put it back at it kept saying camera. This weekend was the first time in days it said sensor blocked. But it still acts up with detecting cars in front. Even on my little test drive, it seemed to be unable...
Last week I got help with an issue with my ACC cutting off and saying sensor blocked after a very minor accident. Found the radar box had popped loose and popped it back and the message went away until this weekend while driving after a rainstorm. Kept getting messages about the camera not...
