I have 285/65/18 KO2 tires which are 86 lbs on Method 313 rims, also have Fox 2.5's with 2.5 lift.
Fully loaded with skid plates, rock sliders, bed rack, RTT, steel front and rear bumpers and camping gear I am easily at around 600 to 800 lbs. I do not use it for a daily driver only off road...
I have the Fox 2.5, and love them a very good balance both on and off road usually have them adjusted to the middle setting. A little overkill for what you are doing and the same with me, but I figured get them instead of doing 2.0 and then changing to 2.5 like some people have done. The only...
Remember when you got in trouble at school, and then when you got home you even got in more trouble from your parents. The school had already called your mom, and they let her know what you did. The worst thing to hear was wait til your dad gets home. Now days it is never the kids fault by...
This thread sure has brought back a lot fond memories growing up in the good old days.
Along the lines of stupid and dangerous ideas as kids what about the Polish Cannons (No Racial Slur Intended), back then there was no such thing as being PC. Used to cut the top and bottom off of soda cans...
Used it yesterday on some icy trails on the backside of Big Bear, CA. Usually I go out alone, but there was a couple of Jeeps running the trails also so I hooked up with them. A couple of the steeper hills were really slick with melted and frozen snow which turned into ice. I was following a...
What size is that extruded aluminum bar? Would like to make some kind of secondary rack under my RCI bedrack to hold some small light weight stuff no more then 30lbs. Was looking at 2040, but not sure if it will be strong enough. I have never used the aluminum before.
I got both the sliders and skid plates from them about 9 months ago, and customer service was good. Took about 4-6 weeks for delivery. Sliders were very well packaged, but the skid plates were just banded to a pallet. I had an issue with one of the skid plates and they responded to both emails...
I would drill through the rail for mounting the bed rack. I tried it with the clamps first, and did not feel safe with that option. If you were only doing a cover maybe, but it you want a rack, and RTT I would drill. I go offroad all the time with my set up, and it is solid as a rock. I have the...
For sale both driver and passenger swing cases, including all mounting hardware and keyed alike. They are used with minor scuffs on the sides, also the passenger one has a fire extinguisher mounting bracket bolted through the top (fire extinguisher not included) only the bracket. If not wanted...
I use the step all the time for washing the truck and when closing my roof top tent. You do need to drill one hole passenger side. What I really like about these is they mount to the side and bottom of the frame.
I do not have a picture at the moment, but my wife uses them for steps all the time, and she loves them. I tend to use them sometimes also, makes it easier to get in and out without crushing the edge of the seat. I have the full top plate.
There is still cars on both sides of the road in Zion, but at least you can drive into the park. You have to start early and begin at the Narrows then work back through the park. We could not do the Narrows walk. I have tried twice and there was flash flood warnings both times I was there in the...
