I had a half ton Silverado that developed a leak around the third brake light/ cargo light. Could be a possible area. I'd still take it back and request a loaner or rental until they get it fixed.

I had a 19 5.0 f150. I miss the hp and torque but it was just another half ton truck. The ranger has something different. Way more fun and enjoyable to drive! Also less of a barge around town and in traffic. ?

I have done it many times. I haul my bx with uhaul trailer when I need warranty work done. Cargo trailer with the loading ramp. Works great!

Perhaps buy a tractor to plow with and save your truck. Just a thought. I plow mine with a bx kubota and an old 6' rear blade. Use the endloader sometimes too. Used tractors can be had for decent price.

Just spitballing here but mine seemed to do that when the fob battery was not long for this earth. But that may just be coincidence
