If you have a reciprocating saw I’m sure you could get through the 4 bars at the end and still pull that thing out. Just need some extra blades and determination
I will have a look for sure. The roush tune was too much tune for what I need. I’m ok on stock. I only added the Mishimoto CAI and the velossatech intake. Does the trick for me
I’d love to see a dropped Ranger. I used to work with a guy that had a dropped S10/Sonoma and it was super sweet. Pretty sure he stuck a LS in it later on and then blew the shit out of the trans.
dropped Tacos kind tickle my fancy too.
take lots of pics of this build!
I’d laugh so hard if I caught someone stealing mine using anything but a reciprocating saw or a pipe cutter. Shit if it was anything but I’d probably help them and give em $20... clearly they need more help then I do (I’m being obtuse).
I saw it like 3 days after I picked my truck up at the other Ford dealer in town, and I considered test driving it. I think it was a 2019 XLT though, maybe FX4. The rear panel decals were changed to Roush. It looked sick tho. Had a cool version of a raptor grille that said roush.
It’s started to happen up here in Canadistan as well, my take on it is I would rather not add to the truck to secure in case they break more shit just to get it off... I have insurance, a camera outside and the neighbour who is a cop has a camera as well.. also it’s a free cat delete, straight...
The engine will only do what it’s programmed. I doubt that Ford installed a tune on stock vehicles to make metric tones more hp on fuel alone. That’s bad business. Also, is 270 not enough for 90% of us??? You might see some gains on fuel only but not an extra 30-45. All those stats are on dyno...
I’d recommend Shell or PetroCan to be honest. Best treatment rates of DCA’s. Ethanol is creeping into the back woods north of 7 slowly and surely.. I know when I go up to Lake Huron the gas there was no ethanol but that has changed within the last year. Most refineries now have ethanol tanks for...
I was getting around 11.5-12.5 L/100km with stock intake, I installed the aFe Quantum and the scoop as well and it went into the 13’s, with the Mishimoto and the velossatech it’s way better. I do notice a bit more lag, nothing major, but when I stick it in sport and giver it brings the smiles...
I have the CAI and really like it, and I get better mileage on the highway which I do a lot of time on, 1000km every other weekend. Add the vellosatech intake and I am down to 9.1L/100km (sticker is 10.9L/100km)
It is possible you are told to run 91/93/94 or whatever so as that if you aren’t seeing the specs you were sold for said tune they could say it’s your fault. Also tunes can change a lot of things like fuel to air ratio and timing where premium fuels will be better suited for a more efficient and...
