  1. I'M BACK

Just returned from the Ford agency. The service writer stated that they will replace all of the wrinkly leather seats both front and rear. That is great news. About my rant about the rear seat headrest: After putting 90 miles on the truck, I now feel like Hounddog409 that the rear view is not so...
  2. I'M BACK

Phil, One other very important thing with respect to the headrest. You referenced MCR....Material Cost Reduction. With 31% of the rear window visibility shielded, what is Ford's liability in a future accident?
  3. I'M BACK

Hi Phil, Your observations and comments I have always enjoyed on other posts they always provide great insight; welcome to mine. Just saw your post. Initially I compared the 2019 and 2020 Owners Manual. This is what caused me to make my initial statement at the start of this thread about not...
  4. I'M BACK

Lone, I thing the photo you are refereeing too is a 2019. That release button is not on my headrests. BUT, because the headrest don't pivot, the rear seat back does NOT fold down all the way but stops on the front seat back. I will be at the dealership looking at 2019's and 20's if they have...
  5. I'M BACK

Lone, you are correct. I made the same comment to my wife after the photo. It looks like I will be doing some research at the dealership.
  6. I'M BACK

I don't recall if these headrests are the same size; you judge I am including a photo. Yes, the back folds down as in the 2019. Hounddog409 I have a Lariat, Crew Cab. Not sure of your configuration but if you look at my photo there is a major blockage of the view. The back window is 384 sq...
  7. I'M BACK

You are correct. I am at a lose as to this change. Yes, they can be removed, but that defeats their purpose; It will leave your back seat passengers less protected. In the mean time, the driver has much less visibility out the back window.
  8. I'M BACK

If you had read my posts in the passed, you will remember I am the guy with the 2019 Ranger LEMON. Ford repurchased it after the truck was in the Ford Dealership 12 times for a total of 16 days with an unsolvable electronic problem. The truck was turned in on July 13th. I ordered a 2020 on the...
  9. Pet Peeves

I have four: 1) The crappy uncovered LITTLE storage "compartments" under the back seat. 2) No damper on the tailgate. 3) The itty bitty non-compartmentalized center console. 4) No power back window.
  10. New Owner Questions - Not in the book

My Lariat, the LEMON that Ford repurchased sat for 6 weeks. I too got a notice that it had not been started in two weeks and went into a power down mode. Six weeks are up----started right up, no problem!
  11. Not Again

THESE ARE MY POSTINGS; HOPE IT GIVES YOU SOME CLARITY! My 2019 Ranger has been in the shop seven (7) times for a total of 12 days. Total mileage is 1824 miles. The dealer and Ford can't figure out the cause of the problem. I receive a notice on the dash and FordPass: Wrench Symbol; POWERTRAIN...
  12. Who's Ordering a 2020 Ranger? What Changes Will It Get?

    1) You spend $44K on a truck. The damper on the tail gate is a given. 2) The under seat storage on the Lariat Super Crew is worst than a bad joke. Why in the hell would you strap the jack crank rod on top of a tiny, tiny storage box. Put it behind the seat back with the jack and funnel. Increase...
  13. MAJOR ELECTRONIC PROBLEM

My 2019 Ranger has been in the shop seven (7) times for a total of 12 days. Total mileage is 1824 miles. The dealer and Ford can't figure out the cause of the problem. I receive a notice on the dash and FordPass: Wrench Symbol; POWERTRAIN MALFUCTION ( 21 times on FordPass) and PARK AID...
