The only weekend im open is this upcoming one unfortunately. I'm in Divide so near the Springs. @ToddlerCO you made it all the way up eagle rock? That trail is gnarly. I ran it on a UTV years ago and there was a lot of winching involved.
Those all have some nice added protection. I've seen the ARB one. It reduces clearance but I'm sure it can take the hits. Weekendwarriors4x4 pretty much has what I want. Somewhere between that and the RTR Funrunner.
Yeah. I'm looking at cutting/folding at that bodyline below the tail light if possible. I've been thinking about it pretty much since I got the truck. If you look at that Ford Performance KoH Ranger they did it and run a custom tube bumper.
Lol. I live in Colorado and yesterday I was running a trail thats rated as hard. When i was coming off the largest obstacle on the trail I hit in this area. It didn't do much. Just a few scratches. The other ranger and a tacoma all hit the same way.
Does anyone know if there is a high clearance rear bumper in the works for our trucks? Similar to this.
I think a bumper this style would really increase our capability due to the increased departure angle and protect that area behind the rear tire from damage.
Like the title says 4x 265/70r17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers 15k miles on them. They're load range C. Two of them have some damage to the sidewall. The guy at discount tire poked around in it and said they're fine but I upgraded to 33s anyways. Let me know if you're interested or want more pictures.
I upgraded to shrockworks skids and have my stock fx4 skids for sale (minus the gas tank). They sell for $495 from the dealership. I'm asking $150. They're like new condition. I have the bolts too.
I have the factory 18s that came with my truck for sale. I swapped them at 5,000 miles so the tires are great. I only want $400. Help me get them out of my garage. They have no damage and are in great shape.
Myself and @coblueberryranger did Red Cone today and it was a blast. It's definitely my new favorite local trail. I don't recommend attempting it stock though. Here's some pics.
Ouray area is about 6 hours away for me so I probably won't be going back this summer. I highly recommend that one as well as engineer pass though if you're headed that way. Next time I go I plan to run Imogene pass. I've been trying to find a trail to run this upcoming weekend and I'm only...
I could do first weekend of august or this upcoming weekend. Mt Antero sounds cool. I haven't done it. I did Yankee Boy Basin out by Ouray last week. It was pretty awesome.
I have a clicking noise from my driver's side CV when turning at full lock in 4hi or 4lo. Any guess whats causing this? I have a 3" fox lift up front with icon UCAs. Im guessing too much lift with no diff drop.
