I've had some aggressive treads that were actually quiet, the Patagonias come to mind.
Some were very noisy like the Coopers my Aunt runs on her Ranch vehicles.
It just depends on the design.
I went with the 3 mo. trial subscription as I've gone on a few camping trips this summer.
I just got back from the North Rim of the Grand Canyon last week, and was able to check e-mails, etc. with the hotspot.
Sure didn't have any cell coverage up there.
I doubt I'll go past the trial period...
I doubt anyone with even 40K 0r 50K on their 2.3 is going to be having misfires or rough idle.
it will take a bit longer.
My 2013 Escape (2.0 Eco) was still fine at 100K, but when I traded it in for the Ranger it had 130K, and would idle so rough at a stoplight you could watch the hood shake...
This old guy came to my yard sale yesterday in style ! Note the two auxilary cooling fans mounted outside the radiator. Makes sense for Arizona summertime driving.

First change I did on mine I took the tire off and bought Ford Synthetic but it was like $11 a quart.
Changed to Mobil 1 5w30 after as I can get it for half that.
I'm not one to push changes with synthetic, every 5K is good for me.
And I no longer remove the tire, just get the splash shield out...
Most Ford vehicles can have Global windows enabled thru Forscan or Focuss.
I tried to enable Global windows in my Escape thru Forscan and couldn't get it to work, then I tried Focuss and was successful,
Apparently with the Ranger Ford decided to delete a $140 -$150 part that is necessary to...
HPR does seem to change slightly depending on the light. I think it looks darker in overcast conditions, like the pics below.
Another rare occasion when my Ranger is spotless.
Hideous isn't a strong enough word to describe my feelings on the body styles of these Japanese autos.
The cheese grater analogy for the new Tundra is perfect.
Most Japanese cars remind me of insects or bottom feeding fish.
All of the manufacturers try too hard to make their pickups look like...
Has Ford ever called it "Hot Pepper Red " ?
I thought it was Hot Pepper Metallic.
I've always thought of it as much more orange than red (burnt orange maybe ?)
Most people that comment on it call it " a nice shade of orange".
That's interesting. Maybe different results because of running different catch cans ?
I have the UPR Dual.
Also the big difference in humidity between Florida and Arizona.
When I get more in the can, it is not only colder here (at least at night) but much more humid than normal for the high...
I put my catch can in almost a year ago. When we have cold mornings here in the winter (central Arizona) I get a little tan sludge in the can (maybe a couple of ounces), but nothing drains out the rest of the year.
I'd say if you live somewhere like Newark, Dayton or Detroit get a can, if you...
Global windows (all windows up or down when holding the lock/unlock of the remote) can be enabled on most Ford vehicles either through Forscan or Foccuus.
I changed my Escape to global windows through Foccuus.
But they cheaped out on the Ranger. It seems you have to order a new module for the...
I could have used a damper back when tailgates weighed 150 pounds.
The Ranger tailgate that I can lower with one finger ? I don't need a damper for that.
