  1. What is something you love, and something you dislike about the Ranger?

Like: Ride height. Utility & capability. 4X4 is there if I need it. Dislike: The transmission and driveshaft. I feel like the trans can be quite good, but its programmed horribly. I wish it had fewer gears and less complexity. I get the sense that the transmission will absolutely be the first...
  2. Sirius XM annoyance issue

I cant live without it, as they say. I have a 42min commute to work so I like to listen to the news. Are there even regular FM radio stations anymore? I have no idea.
  3. Ranger Celebrates its Third Birthday ?

The only thing missing is, a stupid little birthday hat on top of your truck and a cupcake with a candle sticking out sitting on the hood.
  4. Stolen tail light thread

Is this something that insurance would cover? ( I have comprehensive)
  5. Interesting space between power ports

Exactly what I was going to say.
  6. Interesting space between power ports

Wow that's actually a very good looking switch panel.
  7. Interesting space between power ports

Oh wow thats cool. Somebody had a great idea. Thanks for the heads up.
  8. Interesting space between power ports

I'm still a new owner, so please excuse if you guys already know about this, but while waiting in the line at McDonalds (they are so slow) I noticed these interesting vent holes between the power ports. Any ideas why these are here? Heat rises, so I doubt its supposed to vent heat. It occurs...
  9. Report your MPG

23.6mpg 2022 XLT sport supercrew 4X4 Bug deflector - I have to believe this changes aerodynamics at least a little. 3000 miles I live in the mountains (at Tail of the Dragon, if you're familiar). 50/50 "city" and highway Premium gas. (91) I'm good with this number. I don't obsess and just...
  10. What s the most important mod you learned about here?

Forscan 50/50 enabling terrain mgmt and enabling tire pressure readouts. Everybody talks about Bilsteins but I kinda like the floaty ride. Maybe I'm weird.
  11. What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

Thats nothing. I have 2 front yards (lower by the road and upper) a huge side yard and small backyard. This is my grandads old Snapper from 1997 that I fixed up since I cant justify spending $2k for a lawnmower for a place I rent. I've gone through a few mowers but this Snapper has been the...
  12. What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

Having a pretty damn bad day so far but thank God I have the truck. I live alone and my mower decided to die at the bottom of the steep hill I live on. No way I could push this thing back up. Its like its starved for gas, then the battery seems dead because it wont crank over. I think its...
  13. Useful 3D printed items..

There's some really cool ideas in here but I just wanted to give a shout out to the guy who made the ignition ring bezel. Every time I get in my truck, for a split second, I think "man I love that thing" before I set off. ? Props to that guy.
  14. The PIC whore club! Come on in!

Finally got home from work today, parked very quickly since I was about to hop back in and take the dog to the park. But, I glanced back and just really liked the way the truck looked. Enough that I snapped a pic.
  15. Instrument Panel

Hey why not make it easy, right? My driveway is 12° max. Let me assure you, when you get to -15° its feels like you're going to fall through the windshield! Fun fact: You can make the degree symbol by holding down your ALT button and typing 0176 then let go of ALT.
  16. What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

Today I contemplated spending the $749.99 on a premium Line-X application. Seems insanely high but I called around and thats what they go for these days. ?
  17. Instrument Panel

I avoid the MPG screen like the plague. Mine is on the off road screen. I like to check out the angles of hills I'm on and the slope of the road (roll). Personal best is my parents driveway at 15°.
  18. Showing gears on display

I use it daily. Living in the mountains, there's frequent need to stop the trans from constantly shifting to 10th gear. It LOVES 10th gear. The transmission's goal in life is to live in 10th as much as possible.
  19. Trick to get dirt.

I believe the wife has something that may work just as well...
  20. One Piece Driveshaft

Wow, @quangdog impressive video and I cant wait to hear your evaluation of the driveshaft. I'm shocked the stock wobble is that bad. What can Ford do? Replace carrier with firmer material? And, are they likely to even bother right on the cusp of a new generation?
