  1. Tailgate ladder

I was really interested in getting one of these until I realized that it would be worthless with the tailgate down, if it came out on the side (in the rear), it would be great.
  2. Engine shutter.

Nope, The mechanic who they give it to has no fu#ks to give about it and the service manager practices no oversight. I have one more free oil change and the truck will be going elsewhere for service and repairs that I don't do myself.

If this fits our north american rangers, I'll buy one.
  4. 2020 Fx2 vs 4x2 w/ locker

The locking diff is well worth the money, it has got me unstuck 3 times already. Many report the FX4 suspension (same as FX2) bounces even more than the 2WD suspension. You may find you like the 2WD gauge cluster better.

Hauled 50 cinder blocks and 3 80lb bags of quickcrete (one bag removed before taking pictures). I will be installing an on board compressor system by January as I will be adding rear air bags and adding an air coupling so that I can pump up tires.

  13. Suggestions/ suspension products to improve Ranger ride and comfort

JP If you're referring to the harshness of the ride, a new set of tires might do the trick, I installed a set of Kumho Crugen HT51 's and saw a large improvement in the harshness of the ride; it's hard to beat the price on these tires also. (make sure you get the 110 load rating) If you're...
  14. 5G Ranger's Hauling Things Thread

It dropped about 2 inches on the springs until it hit the stoppers; then there was some tire squat.
  15. 5G Ranger's Hauling Things Thread

  16. 5G Ranger's Hauling Things Thread

That's the only picture I got. It composed of 16', 14', 12' lumber and 4x8 sheets.
  17. 5G Ranger's Hauling Things Thread

Unloaded first, then got a convenient store chicken sandwich.
  18. Tie downs

I almost ordered these a while back because I too need some tie downs up high https://www.amazon.com/Bully-WTD-823-Clamp-Pair/dp/B0002MBBIQ, but upon measuring, it seamed there was not enough lip on the ranger bed rails to support these; has anyone ordered these and found that they do indeed work ?
  19. Effect of start/stop on turbo?

No, the Ranger does NOT have a ISG.
