  1. Ford Officially Releases Sync 3 v3.4 Build 20282

Ford has pulled this latest update. No longer available in Oasis. Very frustrating. My speculation is that in their effort to restore the missing climate icon, now the icon is appearing on lower trim vehicles that never had the icon and don't have the hardware to support this feature. SSM...
  2. Ford Officially Releases Sync 3 v3.4 Build 20282

Correct the 8 is causing the climate icon to disappear. If you previously had a 0, those trucks didn't have any issue.
  3. Ford Officially Releases Sync 3 v3.4 Build 20282

Just fyi - I was one of those that lost the climate icon when I upgraded to v3.4 Build 20136. Looking in Oasis, Ford has since changed the As Built value at 7D0-04-01. Previously was 3480, now is 3400 to Enable Climate Domain
  4. Ford Officially Releases Sync 3 v3.4 Build 20282

I spoke to my dealer this morning... Definitely available to the dealer but not currently through the Ford Owner site. Hopefully that will change soon. Nonetheless I have an appointment on Thursday morning to have the dealer install Build 20282.
  5. Ford Officially Releases Sync 3 v3.4 Build 20282

I currently have approx. 70 2021 Super Duty's on order that have been built but have not been delivered. They were shipped with v3.4 Build 19241. However, Oasis indicates they also qualify for this same Sync 3 update - v3.4 Build 20208. Edit: please forgive my typo, they qualify to be...
  6. Ford Officially Releases Sync 3 v3.4 Build 20282

Keep in mind even though you show having an update in Oasis, I have no idea what this update actually accomplishes. It may simply restore the missing climate icon for those that haven't already used FORScan to resolve. This may explain why so far I haven't found any 2020s that qualify for this...
  7. Ford Officially Releases Sync 3 v3.4 Build 20282

I have seen the Ford Owner website take several days to reflect an update is available. It may not even update over the weekend - don't know...
  8. Ford Officially Releases Sync 3 v3.4 Build 20282

Not so Kimosabi. Oasis indicates your vehicle DOES have an update available. The Ford Owner website apparently isn't up to date. I would continue to monitor for the update to become available.
  9. Ford Officially Releases Sync 3 v3.4 Build 20282

Did you update via the official Ford release to v3.4? Oasis confirms what the Ford Owner Website states.
  10. Ford Officially Releases Sync 3 v3.4 Build 20282

Checking for an update on the Ford Owner website is currently a waste of time as it doesn't even reflect an update is available for my VIN which Oasis reflects an update is available. Therefore currently you can only check availability of the update in Oasis. Additionally those trucks that...
  11. Ford Officially Releases Sync 3 v3.4 Build 20282

Here's something interesting... I randomly picked a 2020 Ranger VIN that was produced on October 21, 2020, and was shipped with Build 20136. The Build 20282 update is not available for this vehicle - Oasis states 20136 is the most current build. This would tend to make one assume that this...
  12. Ford Officially Releases Sync 3 v3.4 Build 20282

Unfortunately, the Ford Owner site doesn't currently have the update available for my VIN. I am assuming this is the same for others?? I'm also curious if this update at some future date will be pushed out OTA eliminating the need for a manual installation. As of this morning, it is not...
  13. Ford Officially Releases Sync 3 v3.4 Build 20282

If this information has already been posted I apologize for overlooking the thread and please feel free to post a link to the thread If not, in Oasis I see Ford has officially released an update to Build 20282 for Sync 3 v3.4 for the Ranger platform. Has anyone installed this update and if so...
  14. TSB 20-2277 2019-2020 Ranger - Shudder/Vibration When Accelerating From A Stop

Thank you very much navsnipe !! I overlooked that document
  15. TSB 20-2277 2019-2020 Ranger - Shudder/Vibration When Accelerating From A Stop

Surely you realize by adding a shim under the carrier bearing you have now changed the working angles of the front section of the rear driveshaft which probably was within spec but now is not.
  16. TSB 20-2277 2019-2020 Ranger - Shudder/Vibration When Accelerating From A Stop

Yes, technically it was within the range of 5* to 6*. However, the dealer was willing to install the .5* shim to get the pinion angle as close as possible to the desired 5.25* which is optimal.
