  1. Parallel parking

Wow, there sure are a lot of them for sale out there after all. I still can't remember the last time I ever saw any vehicle with then installed. Must be a geographic location where they are popular.
  2. Bed replacement system

I like it. Have absolutely no need for it but I do like it.
  3. Parallel parking

Wow! That's a blast from the past. I can't remember the last time I saw curb feelers on any vehicle. I will have the check the Pep Boy's web site. Does anyone even sell those any more?
  4. Parallel parking

My experience was the opposite. The first time I tried to parallel park my Ranger, and it WAS a reasonably tight space. it went smoothly. The rear camera and the sensors work like a champ and it went in on the first attempt. Of course it helps if you align yourself correctly to the car you are...
  5. Some Trailering Bones to Pick With Ford

A suggestion for everyone for all topics... If you are going to use an acronym to refer to something please define it the first time you use it. Then you are good to go from that point on (including subsequent posts). It took me several moment to realize that WDH meant Weight Distribution Hitch...
  6. Adaptive cruise control

Thanks for making me aware of that. I had not noticed that. I will look into how easy it is.
  7. Plug for Bed lights (dummy) in back on bed rail frame.

mmm? Any chance that is the plug meant for powering the high mount brake light when you install a topper and only has power when the brake is applied? Just guessin'.
  8. Adaptive cruise control

I was introduced to the feature with my bride's Sonata and I 'generally' like it. One feature of the Sonata version I like is the ability to switch between the ACC (they call it Smart Cruise Control) and regular cruise control. With both vehicles I notice that when on down hill grades and...
  9. Plug for Bed lights (dummy) in back on bed rail frame.

It might help if you describe which lights/functions don't not work now that you think you have a blown fuse.
  10. Smoked Tail lights?

Never been a fan of smoked tail lights on any vehicle. I want my vehicle to be SEEN by anyone coming up from behind. I would rather NOT be hit from behind than have to defend against any argument that I would share the blame because my smoked tail lights caused me to not be seen.
  11. Any News on this ?

While I echo the sentiment, as long as it remains a one party state, it will never happen.
  12. New Product - Morimoto XB LED Replacement Headlights

I doubt all is lost. I bet you can still count from zero thru F. lol
  13. Bluto or Olive Oyl

I love the sound of silence from not hearing the tailgate slam down when it slips from my grasp as I try to open it one handed. Long Live Olive Oyl.
  14. Any News on this ?

I was just thinking. Maybe Ford should re-incarnate the Ranchero.
  15. 2020 Adaptive Cruise Control Stop and Go Feature

I know my bride's Sonata DOES have complete stop/start capability on her adaptive cruise control (they call it smart cruise control and can be switched to normal cruise control). I even tested it a couple of times while traveling in a rush hour congested freeway setting and it works. I think...
  16. Paint Brake Calipers or Not ?

Definitely not cheap. just did a quick check and the first web site I checked they ran between $230 to $250 for a set of four covers, and they came in Red, Black and Yellow. I don't know if I can talk myself into spending that much for them. Which is really silly when I think of how much I spent...
  17. So I Got Tired Of My Phone Cable Being In The Way...

True, right up until they strike the inside of the windshield and then bounce back into your face. Ouch!
  18. So I Got Tired Of My Phone Cable Being In The Way...

Regarding the frequent radar alerts. Many new vehicles use radar as part of the rear side warning sensing (ours do, at least my Lariat has them in the tail light assemblies) and that might be the source of your alerts.
  19. Ford Pass Recall message

I didn't do anything. They just sent it to me in the mail. Still on my desk waiting for me to remember to put it in my manual
  20. Poll - Is the tailgate damper the new "Rick Roll" ?

Now where is the fun in that? I usually shop planning to not buy anything. And then the 'impulsius forceius' attacks and I walk out with my arms full. I end up happy, the bride is pissed about what I bought but then I get another chance to enjoy my sloooowww lowering tailgate. Gotta love it. LOL
