Wow, there sure are a lot of them for sale out there after all. I still can't remember the last time I ever saw any vehicle with then installed. Must be a geographic location where they are popular.
Wow! That's a blast from the past. I can't remember the last time I saw curb feelers on any vehicle.
I will have the check the Pep Boy's web site. Does anyone even sell those any more?
My experience was the opposite. The first time I tried to parallel park my Ranger, and it WAS a reasonably tight space. it went smoothly. The rear camera and the sensors work like a champ and it went in on the first attempt. Of course it helps if you align yourself correctly to the car you are...
A suggestion for everyone for all topics... If you are going to use an acronym to refer to something please define it the first time you use it. Then you are good to go from that point on (including subsequent posts). It took me several moment to realize that WDH meant Weight Distribution Hitch...
mmm? Any chance that is the plug meant for powering the high mount brake light when you install a topper and only has power when the brake is applied? Just guessin'.
I was introduced to the feature with my bride's Sonata and I 'generally' like it. One feature of the Sonata version I like is the ability to switch between the ACC (they call it Smart Cruise Control) and regular cruise control.
With both vehicles I notice that when on down hill grades and...
Never been a fan of smoked tail lights on any vehicle. I want my vehicle to be SEEN by anyone coming up from behind. I would rather NOT be hit from behind than have to defend against any argument that I would share the blame because my smoked tail lights caused me to not be seen.
I know my bride's Sonata DOES have complete stop/start capability on her adaptive cruise control (they call it smart cruise control and can be switched to normal cruise control). I even tested it a couple of times while traveling in a rush hour congested freeway setting and it works. I think...
Definitely not cheap. just did a quick check and the first web site I checked they ran between $230 to $250 for a set of four covers, and they came in Red, Black and Yellow. I don't know if I can talk myself into spending that much for them. Which is really silly when I think of how much I spent...
Regarding the frequent radar alerts. Many new vehicles use radar as part of the rear side warning sensing (ours do, at least my Lariat has them in the tail light assemblies) and that might be the source of your alerts.
Now where is the fun in that?
I usually shop planning to not buy anything. And then the 'impulsius forceius' attacks and I walk out with my arms full. I end up happy, the bride is pissed about what I bought but then I get another chance to enjoy my sloooowww lowering tailgate. Gotta love it. LOL
