It really just depends on how and where you intend to take the truck. If it will be a 99% street ride, there is absolutely no need for 4WD and you even get a bonus as most insurance rates will be a little higher on a 4WD as they 'assume' you will take it off road and abuse it.
I went with 2WD...
I went with the Lariat because I wanted most all the features. Plus, I wanted the FOB and push button start which wasn't standard on the other trim packages.
Just over 600 miles on my new Ranger and already 3 CELs. The first one auto cleared after x restarts and I just cleared the code with my scanner. When the second one occurred, I pulled a P0200 up and it also auto cleared itself. The third is also a P0200 and I am waiting to see if it auto...
Well, maybe Reverse is protected but I would still like to be able to slap that shift lever into Neutral in an emergency without having to fumble around trying pull on the lever.
It happened to me in a Chevy van a number of years ago when the motor mount failed. The rising motor caused the throttle to go to WOT. It was pretty scary the first time when you didn't know what was happening.
Is anyone else bothered with having to pull the trigger on the shift lever to shift from Drive back into Neutral?
The seems us WRONG and have never had to do that on any other vehicle I have had, including other Fords.
This just seems like a safety issue to me. If I have a runaway throttle and...
I would surely use an 'assist' handle every time I get in the truck. It is especially useful when you have some difficulty with your mobility due to knee replacement.
I have only had mine 3 weeks tomorrow. I haven't really seen any others around me yet, which is surprising as I am not out in Timbuktoo, I am in Orange County south of L.A. I have only noticed very few drivers who recognized it as a new Ranger and actually looked it over as we passed.
+1 for all of your suggested options plus the seat memory as well.
I probably would not have ordered the moon roof but it does have it's convenience. All the others I would have selected.
My bride has the heated steering wheel and cooling seats o n her '18 Sonata and I use both frequently.
I thought about putting on personalized plates since I had some on my Trac, but you can't get dp (disabled person) personalized plates. So, I just went with putting on the dp plates so I wouldn't have to deal with remembering to hang my blue hang tag on the mirror whenever I park. Since in...
About that cover over the fuses. What is the trick to remove it. The molded face seems to indicate a downward pull but mine is really tight. I don’t want to break the dang thing if I pull too hard in the wrong direction. Thanks.
I had been looking for a replacement for my '02 Sport Trac for years but no manufacturer offered anything close that I liked or even would fit in (I have long legs) and most small trucks were too small for me PLUS I has a requirement that it fit in my garage. I did not want a full size pickup...
