There’s definitely something wrong with the paint or the process.
I had more chips after two months with my brand new Ranger than I have on my 2012 Mustang with 98,000km.
after 10 months of ownership I have a lot of paint chips, far surpassing the amount on my Mustang or my 2015 Ram 1500
I see ambient temperature is one criteria and with the -30c weather that was my assumption. It’s also several other possibilities as well, cabin temperature, windshield defroster on etc.
In regards to the first post, my heated seats have been coming on with the remote start for months now. I...
Nice Ranger! Do you have any side profile pictures you could post? Those wheels are on my shortlist for later this year when I upgrade from the stock wheels.
Canadian Tire has stores all over Canada so I’m thinking he’s not benefiting any way from the sale of these tires. I actually took advantage of this same sale earlier this year from Canadian tire, it’s not often that these tires are on sale.
I guess you missed the point about everyone entitled to their opinion without having others be hostile to them over it. My issue is his aggressive behaviour he so often has to others that he disagrees with.
For someone who’s so opinionated, you sure get hostile to other people who may also hold an opinion on something. You should take your own advice and just scroll past the posts that you disagree with. This is a forum talking about Ford Rangers where everyone is entitled to their opinion. This...
I put the Rokblokz XL splash guards on my truck as well. Not sure what your plans are but they are very low profile so if your upsizing your tires they shouldn’t rub quite as easy. I’m running a 275/65 r18 tire with 1” spacers and they don’t rub at all.
Last Sunday we had a large dump of snow about 12-15” in places. For the prairies that’s actually a very large amount to get at one time. The storm essentially shut the city down and many people were stuck out on the roads and city streets. The hospitals actually put out a call for people with...
Re-calibrated my speedometer with the Rough Country Calibrator I just picked up. Nice to have my speedometer and fuel mileage indicator back where it should be.

This looks like a fairly objective review.
It would make sense why the BF’s are approx 10lbs heavier If they have a 3 ply sidewall compared to the Duratracs. I guess it comes down to what’s most important, tire weight/fuel mileage etc or extra sidewall...
I put Duratracs on my Ranger but I’m running 275’s so not exactly apples to apples. No they’re not as quiet as the Hankooks but that’s not a shock to anyone. With that said I actually was expecting a lot worse, there’s some extra noise but it’s actually quite negligible under normal driving...
That’s a very handy link you posted, thanks for that. I’ve been unsure what pressure to run my new tires at since installing them. The shop originally set them to 35psi but I’ve recently lowered them to the stock 30psi and they feel better. Interestingly the calculator recommended 25psi, not...
Just got the Blackwood dash kit installed. Pretty happy with it, would have been nice to have more contrast on the dash but I think with it being slightly raised and the glossy finish it should help quite a bit to find the buttons easier in the daylight. Really happy with the look of it on the...
