The shifter is actually easier, especially if you did your e-brake.
The material comes off the plastic rings with a little pull all the way around.

A recent update as I know this is old, but I just got a Raingler ceiling nest for my supercab.
Pretty easy install and looks good! Yes, you have to remove 4 bolts, but finish and fit are nice and you can hang a ton on it.
Note: it takes them a very long time, as I waited almost 6 months...

Do you have a hi lift jack?
THere is a base, for the high lift jacks, kinda resembles what @DukeCanBuildit circled. You could use that for a base too for your garage. Toss it in with your high lift when you are out and about.

Yep, just had them rotated to deal with 74+ mph vibration that was from weights that have come off the wheels (edited)
