The EGR thing would be annoying but not that big a deal if Ford dealers were competent. Instead it seems like there's a 90% chance you'll have to fight the dealer to even acknowledge the problem.

I assume it's some sort of moronic California law that Ford is following that you can't have an easily accessible setting to just permanently disable it. Idiotic system that's completely useless for my kind of driving.

Just personal preference, but if snow/ice is your concern I'd just buy an FX4, do aftermarket suspension, and get a good set of snow tires. Wide rubber band 33s sounds like a nightmare on snow/ice.

Those Waldock builds look like they have 20" rims. I wouldn't call that "set up nicely" for anything but mall crawling.

I drove an FX4 before my Tremor and wouldn't have bought the truck in FX4 trim. The Tremor rides vastly better, night and day difference. Not sure if it's the leaf springs or the shocks, but it's a huge difference.

Beautiful build, probably my favorite of the ones I've seen on this forum. Nothing super tacky, just functional and clean.
