Ya it's not my first choice but Alaska has almost no tires in 285/70/17 that are 3 peak rated stuff and shipping here is 700$ on any tire you want so slim pickings. Just covid things. The kanati seem like duratrac twins and probably be my choice with studs. He'll even the stock tires have gotten...
So the Kanata at4 vs the Cooper st maxx are pretty much my only two options local. Wondering if anyone has any experience with these. Looking for winter snow ice and offroading experience if anyone's got them.
Ya Alaska is no rules and also no real roads, they keep snow layer at all times. So offroad tires and studs seems better for deep stuff than pure winter road tires.
ya really didn't wanna waste the money on winter only tires for 4 months just need them to be better since I'm upgrading to bigger tires already. My wife has the blizzaks so I knew they are good, but experience in the snow is still better.
I still think the kenda klever with studs will fit my needs, and from everything I've seen today in research you can take the studs out and run them even if they are somewhat chewed up.
but are blizzaks really better than just studded 3 peak hybrid tires? and you can just take studs out in the summer and run the same tires correct? Id rather not have to pay for a set of winter tires just for one winter, blizzaks are $$$
AT or hybrid 285/70/17 looking for recommendations, Alaska is basically all ice and snow roads and looking for something better than what I have. Want something that can handle well on road (snow and ice) and then something that is good in deeper stuff Aswell. thanks in advance guys.
they already have their test mustangs that are EV powered not the suv one.
All-Electric Mustang Mach-E 1400 Prototype by Ford Performance and RTR - RTR Vehicles
So chances are they will be competing in that market maybe a performance offroad ev too.
5200 miles in 8 days with a maxed out uhaul and two German shepherds in the back seat ranger did great even through British Columbia mountains in the record. Breaking triple digit heat. 14 mpg is acceptable the gas tank size really was noticeable only doing 250 miles tank was rough but time to...
