Anyone with stock Fx4 shocks really needs these!
The RC N3 rear shocks where a stop gap for me and somewhat of a test to see if there was a prpblem to be solved - There was!. I am selling bc I finally got some Bilstein 5100s.
I can say that the RCs where a vast improvement over stock Fx4...
@daczone Dave
attached is what I could find - not as clear as I had hoped, but should help.
The connector at the CCM is C1582, the other end of this harness is C145. You can trace it further if needed from the diagram.
Happy modding!
The Mori's we're not available when I got mine. Fit is not perfect, but no issues otherwise. Going on 2+ yrs.
If they die I probably would go morimoto though.
I got mine originally from Walmart!
Seems odd that its an open tube, don't these usually have some sort of filter/bug keep out screen?
Also - you guys are missing the point. If you notice the tube exits above the steering u-joint. This way if any oil ever burbs out it doesnt go to waste as it lubes the u-joint! ?
I was thinking about doing the same but using the existing threaded holes and a shoulder bolt.
but as has been pointed out had load concerns. I dont think I have ever bought more than 2-3 sheets of plywood at a time, so maybe....
I played with the passenger side positioning and yeah it does help - but the proof will be on the hwy. Next time I go in to the office I will give it try. 45 min drive, 40 min of which is on multi lane hwy - now I have something to do during my commute!
Finally got mine on - used the heated mirrors to set the adhesive ?
the driver side is AWESOME. Passegner side is... well worthless. It is almost an exact mini view of what I see it the mirror. May peel that one off.
