  1. Drop in liner tie down covers

Well, after a frustrating and futile visit to my dealership about missing tie downs and covers, I'm going rogue. I'm missing my middle tie downs like everyone else, and I'm also missing the rubber covers for my drop in liner over those. Dealership wanted to charge me over $130 for the missing...
  2. Extang Trifecta Signature

Fantastic - missed that I guess when searching. I had an Extang vinyl for a decade before the frame gave out, hoping this one lives up to the prior experience
  3. Extang Trifecta Signature

I'm looking at the Extang Trifecta 2.0 Signature tonneau cover. My main use for the truck is a commuter and weekend camping/kayak transport. The Trifecta fits my needs for the most part. I'm looking at soft covers, and the ability to remove completely quickly alongside the durable frame is very...
  4. Report your MPG

I've put on just shy of 1000miles and have not broken 20mpg. Truck stays between 19.2 and 19.4 mpg. 50/50 mix of city/hwy on 87 octane.
  5. Cleaning those magnetic wheels

I actually enjoy detailing my vehicles. It also makes it easier to clean up again after getting it dirty. Plus, it is nice to have shiny things! My 1987 is still rocking the original paint to this day. It's getting very thin, but still gleams.
  6. Cleaning those magnetic wheels

Agreed. I believe the magnetic isn't "attracting" what we think...
  7. Cleaning those magnetic wheels

Nice. I'll look into a soft brush for cleaning. I'll get them washed and waxed with some chemical guys I have left over!
  8. Cleaning those magnetic wheels

So I finally got my truck back from the body shop after being rear ended 2 hours after buying it! :) Now it's time to get to work on the details. I'm planning on clay, extra light correction, and some sealant for the body. The wheels have me still thinking. These are my first set of painted...
  9. How to Super Clean the INSIDE of Your Windshield

I use a 50/50 mix of isopropyl and hot water, and soak a magic eraser with that to clean the windshield. Wipe with a fresh microfiber and it's so clear my wife has poked it to make sure it's there lol. I also second Invisible Glass, been using it for years and it has great results. I'm a...
  10. 2019 Ford Ranger OEM Splash Guards

I'm torn between the OEM Ford guards and the Rock Blockz. I've had experience with the RB guards on an F150, and they were very good. They look a bit much for the Ranger though. The OEM is cheaper and has a smoother look to them. Thoughts...
  11. Just FYI - Ford body repair parts not available

I just dropped mine at the shop for a sandwich collision. Had it two hours, and a lady rear ended me and pushed me into the car in front as well. New front and rear bumpers, hitch, and tailgate at minimum. This is a Ford dealership shop, hoping they have parts at this point in the game shipping out.
