I saw an ad from Weather Tech that they now have a cup holder based phone holder. Looked great in the commercial. No idea of practicality or if in design or production phase.
Where are those bull ring holes located, and if they do not spray over the holes, how do they avoid it? I definitely do not want the tie downs sprayed.
Nice! Mine will be sent over to Line X when it arrives at the dealership. Told me that it only takes a one day to get it sprayed in, so another small delay in getting the truck.
Doc, Pinecrest is an incorporated city within the greater Miami metro area. A few bars on US1 but no camps.
There is an old ghost town called Pinecrest out in the Everglades, on Loop Road. Supposedly had some history with Al Capone back in the day. I have driven by there a couple of times...
I gave up competitive shooting to save my hearing when the tinnitus became too pronounced. Now, its inshore fishing. I'm looking forward to getting the Ranger to pull the boat rig and so I don't leave her Escape, the only tow vehicle we now have, sitting in a marina parking lot all day. Will...
Well, I'm one who ordered before January and I'm still waiting. There are several others in the same situation, however we are getting build weeks/dates. I'm sure there are some that have since left this site after getting their Rangers; probably would rather have fun in their new truck than...
I like that suggestion, Mark. That gets me to thinking.... Can the cargo lamp be cycled on/off thru some combination of depresses on the key fob? If not, maybe I need to send that suggestion to Ford.
Agree on the Ford tracker site not giving a build date. Dealer has access to more specific info. Gave me a build week of 3/18 several weeks ago, then a confirmed build date last week along with a confirmation of the delivery week the tracker is showing. Granted the delivery week is iffy but...
ulev1st, Thanks for posting this information. I looked at the product and installation video and it is definitely simple enough. I wonder though if 180 LEDs per side would be too bright for a non-covered bed. Again, thanks!
Except that Toyota is now offering $1,000 cash back on 2018 Tacoma, per a TV ad I saw over the weekend. Maybe that is a ploy, bait & switch tactic if there aren't any last year models left on the lots. Looks great when you throw it in front of a TV audience to maybe get a Ford buyer into a...
Using a clay bar will remove minute metal particles that get on the paint from the rail cars, and really preps the paint for good adherence. I used to go full bore with Zaino products on my SE Miata. I had the SE looking like there was a thin coat of glass on her.
Bob, that is correct. I've read the owner manuals and all list reduced weights for non-braked trailers: F150 (1,500#), Canyon/Colorado (2,000#), Tacoma manual (1,000#) as some examples. From my research, you must have a brake controller to tow at the maximum stated. It's just unfortunate...
If the Build & Price is correct, the base XL has power door locks and a manual tailgate lock. The optional 101A package gives you the power tailgate lock.
What about the area under the accelerator pedal? Rain and mud is what I'd be dealing with in S Florida. Don't want the carpet getting ruined beneath and behind the pedal. Is that area sufficiently protected with the factory liner?
If you drive like there is a raw egg between your foot and each of your pedals, and try not to crack it while driving, you'll get much better MPGs. OK, maybe a soft boiled egg but you get the point. Don't jack rabbit start from a stop, drive with your eyes a quarter mile or more down the road...
Having the keypad is useful in numerous situations. Going fishing, biking, hiking, hunting and don't want to risk losing key, leave in a hidden place and lock the door. Need to have a trusted friend retrieve your vehicle from the airport parking lot? Lock the key inside, tell them the...
