It seems like it should be the other way around when thinking in terms of volume but like you say it isn't. I run 37 PSI in my 265/70/17's and 40 PSI in the 29x2.40 bike tires which are rated to a max of 50 PSI. And as you mentioned some of the road bikes with skinnier tires take even more...
Yep, that's one thing I don't like about this generation of rechargeable devices...they design them so that it is difficult to replace the batteries like on my Garmin GPS. I did manage to change one out on an older model but it wasn't easy.
I've seen the Wahoo on Amazon...how do like it? These Padrones are finicky and difficult to program but once they are synched up work really nice. Had to call Cateye America live support several times to get the previous one up and running. Mine's just an analog but serves the purpose.
