Fortunately my dealer always gives me a free loaner on any service. They don't advertise it but if you ask they do it. They strive for excellent service and have been chosen Car Dealer of the year for the last 4 years by the people of our city.
Nice. I bought my 2011 Ford certified with 12K on it. It had the 5 speed automatic and shifted as smooth as butter...it might have been a great tranny for the 5g's considering all the issues that are occurring with them.
I always keep the miles to empty notification below on so I don't slip up and get too low on gas. If I do decide to go to the low warning light to get out as much old gas as possible its only when there's a station near and I can immediately fill up and not go below that.
My standard practice is at 1/4 but occasionally will go until the low fuel warning notification comes on (as long as there's a station nearby) just to get rid of as much old gas as possible.

One of the reasons I take the truck in for the scheduled maintenance and inspections is that the service dept. can catch faulty things that are replaceble under warranty. Was on a service visit with my 1st Ranger and they discovered that the cat was defective and had just a few miles left...
