No, the tip came pre-painted. I only painted the pipe itself. That didn't cut it for me, so I installed the tip To paint the pipe, I used a piece of cardboard and cut a slit in the middle for the pipe, sliding the cardboard over the pipe, then just rotate as you spray. Short little spray...

So it seems there are a few grill purchase options and I'm ready to order mine. However, I want the one that requires no cutting or mods, just bolt right in. I read that the one from ebay (not sure who the seller is) and then Ranger Grille, and there was one other. So which one is the best...

I'm taking mine to the dealer on Tuesday so they can try to align the passenger front door. While there, I will show them the electronic waste-gate control actuator and let them hear it. I'll report back after.

thanks for checking! At least it seems normal that this makes a noise when it moves. I guess mine is just a little louder than most. I'll have the dealer look at it the next time I take it in for something else.

I have some front brake issues right as I come to a stop, sometimes. it's like you are running over little bumps, or maybe the break assist is helping too much. I have no vibration at high speeds and my brakes work fine overall.
