I have 2 pike poles at home but they are both to long for my 5' bed & I don't want to cut either of them shorter. I currently use a 1" PVC pipe with a cap on the end into which I drilled a hole & screwed in a threaded hook. It does the job perfectly.
Yesterday I connected my 2019 Lariat to my high speed connection here in my summer home in Franklin, NC. For the first time ever, including when I owned our 2017 Explorer, I started to receive an update over the air.
Sync 3.3 has been updated to 3.4 and now further updating, which I presume to...
I don't have the secure code device (I had it on an Escape & 2 Explorers - & I missed it at first), but if I did get it now I think I would consider mounting it with that heavy duty Scotch velcro, inside the fuel door. Just a thought.
Made this exact trip many times when we lived in St Augustine. Used to have a good friend who lived on Amelia Island. Savanna is wifey's favorite city to visit. Used to do a lot of camping back in the day. (Used to live & work in Ft Lauderdale also.)
OMG, you youngsters!!! I was 33 in 78. WOW - I may be of an age when to remember something new, i must forget something previously remembered, BUT, I do not remember the blizzard of 78.
Oh wait, by then, I had been living in Florida since 1961. No snow in Ft Lauderdale in 78, but there were...
Tree pollen is all but gone now in Plant City, so today, Pepper got a bath, a polish & just because it needed a blow dry, a ride & a fill up.
I washed with Simple Green in a bucket of water & used a soft bristle truck brush. I polished with the last of the Last Coat I had on hand. (Spray on...
Wife & I are going thru the pollen & pool filter thing as well here in Plant City, but with a caveat. We will be heading to our summer home in Franklin NC on April 11 this year where, guess what, we we go thru this pollen thing ALL OVER AGAIN!
But we wouldn't change it for all the money in the...
My Lariat was a 'DEMO' and came with this hood deflector & the 'STEP BARS'. I have no complaints with the deflector & thank God it came with the steps or wifey wouldn't be able to get in the truck!!!
Years ago there was a tip in Trailer Life Magazine (I've towed tag along & 5th wheel trailers for years) using plain water & a dishwasher additive called RINSE AID.
Granted I winter in Florida & summer in North Carolina so I haven't been concerned with freezing temps, but fill the tank & add 3...
I haven't seen any 5g Rangers on TV yet but do see plenty of the originals as we have been streaming the shows we watched in the 2000's on up.
But we are seeing a lot more 5g Rangers on the roads in the Tampa Bay area!
Also got the Ford rolling tonneau cover. Immediately took it to a car wash and that thing barely let any water in. Slight trickle at the highest pressure car wash in my area. It’ll be perfect for rain.
"WISH I COULD SAYVTHAT!!!"
Our first Ford DD was a 1985 LTD sedan which was my dad's DD until he passed. Unfortunately for us it was totaled in a broadside crash at an intersection near Pompano Beach. We replaced it with a used 85 Merc Grand Marquis which, since wifey needed it as a DD, turned out be a big time lemon...
Awe shucks fellas, wifey & I needed groceries today. I needed to lower the a/c to make it more comfortable. It was 80° & humid. My HPR Ranger has a green sheen on it these days.
