Now enjoying both retirements in Plant City, FL (winter) & Franklin, NC (summer)
We spend our summers in an RV Park just south of Franklin, NC. We have a park model home there.
So, not only go thru pollen season here in Florida, but also go thru it in NC also!!!
This morning I took Pepper up to the corner where a Mexican family has a car wash set up. They do a fantastic job, both inside & out.
Then I returned home & gave Pepper a good polish. Need to get ready for pollen season hints of which are already beginning.
By the way, it's 76° with low...
I solved the problem of getting into the bed of my truck. I purchased the Weather Tech Bump Stop that slides into the hitch. Then I used some Ford Pass Points to by that inocouous one sided shock absorber thingy that seems to draw much skepticism from members here.
I climb unto the step, then...
Why Did The Chicken Cross The Road?
DONALD TRUMP: I've been told by my many sources, good sources - they're very good sources - that the chicken crossed the road. All the Fake News wants to do is write nasty things about the road, but it's a really good road. It's a beautiful road. Everyone...
I'm no wrap expert as I haven't stayed at a Holiday Inn Express. But we recently visited with our oldest son & family in Ft Lauderdale. Our grandson has a 2011 Mustang. He had a friend come over with wrap h a heat gun. He wanted the center grill mounted lights blacked out. It was a piece of...
Just for $hit$ & giggles, I read through these posts. I previously owned a 2015 Explorer, which I purchased used & now my 2019 Ranger Lariat. I changed out the puddle lights to LED'S on both of these vehicles & have been very pleased with the outcome. I haven't seen anyone here mention the site...
FYI: Before my Ranger, I owned a 2017 XLT Explorer. XLT's don't come standard with the Homelink system. From EBAY I purchased a Homelink sunvisor for an Explorer. Removal of existing visor was a simple process and Ford had already pre-wired for the Homelink system. It was easy to plug in the the...
I place mine to the right of the rear view mirror & below the black mesh screening. This is also the location the Florida Sun-Pass shows on their website. It works. "GO SUNPASS" lights up every time driving past the collection booth.
I cannot see the Sun-Pass on the windshield when it is in place.
Picture it --- Blueridge Parkway. Circa 1982. Driving a 1973 Dodge Dart. A foggy early evening returning to our cabin in Blowing Rock, NC. Speed 25/30 mph. Mountain slope on the left. Cliff on the right. Road curving to the left. Our 2 young boys on the backseat. ?
A deer darts from the...
Ah, no. I think ya'll missed it. That tray was created by forward thinking Ford engineers to hold the masks we are wearing these days. All that UV light coming through the windshield is an excellent germacide!!!
FYI: These facts have not been proven & I know nothing, as Sgt Schultz said back in...
I did have the windshield replaced on my Lariat due to a rock chip. Florida insurance covers windshield replacement 100%. The company that replaced it used a replacement provided by FOMOCO because, as of yet, there were no aftermarket replacements. After the replacement, the company sent out a...
I have done the same (back when new) my 2010 Escape & my 2015 Explorer. I checked the website I used back then (spoilerandwingking.com) and they do not offer moldings yet for our Rangers.
So, I must ask, where did you find yours?
Kept it simple - truck wise. Reprogrammed Homelink button #1 to operate the new garage door & new Liftmaster opener. Cost - Truck zero - door & motor - just cost of owning a home!!!
